I reckon Harry McGee is angling for a job as a Government press officer.

I think the term is lick-assing Harry....;)

Somebody on €108k per year wants an "equal society". Feck off Jack, before you embarrass yourself even further.

I have to say that was a bit of a damp squib......even......

It's like everyone ran out of steam!

Tom Curran (partner of the late, Marie Fleming) had a good article in the Indo today.

'Carers save the State €77m every week – why are we not rewarded?'

These two are becoming a regular double act.

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,886 ✭✭✭✭Roger_007

I don't understand this idea that people with 'higher' earnings are 'benefiting' more from the budget. They are the people who are paying for everything and all that is happening is that they are being screwed a bit less than they were.

Enda wanted a pay rise so high earners got a tax cut.

I feel like I'm back at mass..

    The Response is ...

"The government chose to give a tax cut to high earners".

He has a point though. Typical Fine Gael, looking after their rich friends.

I'm don't have an issue with what he said but I thought it was funny the way he repeated it like a responsorial psalm :D.

    Fine Gael members chant...

    Enda is our shepherd
There is nothing I shall want
Near bought elections he leads me
    To revive our drooping prospects.

Blaming Fianna Fail for the USC is rather pointless this far into this government term.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

"This is a tax brought in by Fianna Fáil"

He says it as if it's beyond Fine Gael's power to abolish it

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,733 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

Blaming Fianna Fail again shows this politician from the government lacks answers.

Strange how Fianna Fáil now know how the country should be run..........pity they didn't know it when they were in government?

He looks like someone inflated Roddy Collins and stuck him in a mohair suit.

And will Vincent ever stop interrupting Donnelly so he can make a flaming point. That thing about overpaying to the drug companies was spot on but it flew over Vinnies head because he had some other bee in his bonnet that he needed to exercise.

Joan Collins hasn't a clue about running an economy.

We should have been spending money she says, when we had the Troika running the country because borrowing was too high to make it sustainable.
