I doubt it - more likely the dozy auld feckers (of all ages) who pull out on people and drive like there's nobody else on the road. I encounter many of them, but very few of the boy racers. The fast young guys I do encounter are usually fairly clued-up and have much better reaction times.

Why ring Liveline because nobody gives you a job ?

Those agency IT jobs don't exist for the most part. Also, the salaries are inflated by thousands.

Overqualified and underskilled... time to retrain in a different aspect of IT lady.

Well re-train to update your skills.. seriously, I wouldn't hire her either.

Current caller knows how to use a fax machine and knows the procedure for sending a telegraph

Why won't someone give her an executive position with a big fat salary?

Is this woman calling from that special area of Dundrum?

Why should racing manics be above the law, whatever charity they where racing for, well give them nothing, hit them where it hurts, in the pocket.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,829 ✭✭✭✭Dan Jaman

    And Sulky racing Joe

He'd never keep up, have you seen the girth on him? That would make him even more sulky, indeed.

I was amused to hear, last week, that our latest EU Commissioner is on less money than Joe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,886 ✭✭✭✭Roger_007

Why doesn't she offer to work for 6 months for nothing to prove she can do the job.
    Be a bit creative!

"What's wrong with a year". How about you don't get much experience or time to prove yourself.

But caller you're also getting your 2 years experience. Even look for a more basic job in the area you want to work in and work from there. If you want to work in food science you need to know your HACCP inside out, even working in a deli gives you experience in that on which you can build on.

Do people expect not to work in the menial jobs any more to get your experience ?
