What would ye reckon. Is Mooney a fan of Ian Paisley?

Up next on Mooney, Paul Gee reminisces about the time he met Big Ian in the gents of the Europa hotel..

Paisley was not a fan of gay people and more than likely had no interest in Eurovision so I'm guessing Derek won't mention him once.

I would have been hoping that he arrives at the pearly gates only to find that the Catholics were right.. But tbh, I'd say his elevator will be going down..

But thats about bigoted as something Paisley would say

The pot calling the kettle black

Is yesterday's Paisley Love In worth podcasting? The Nelson Mandela stuff sounds like it could have been "amusing" so to speak……………..

Generally, no. It was as you'd expect - some for, some against, but not all that interesting. I had it bleating in the background, while I was doing other stuff, and didn't feel I missed a thing.
We should thank Ian Paisley for causing the LL prog to only last an hour yesterday, that's something to tip the hat to him for.

Switched it off as I couldn't listen to a Duffy drooling over the morbidity of his death and how sad it was and what a great man he was. Switched to Newstalk and the same nicey nicey conversation was happening. While waiting for Moncrief to come in I switched once again to 4FM and at least was a level of honesty about paisley although the presenter suggesting "he was no loss to society and he had blood on his hands" was a little too honest. Switched back to Moncrief after I was treated to a load of right wing professional protestors getting arrested live on the air on 4FM. Maybe Joe could have a few action moments like that to liven up the dullness and misery that is Liveline,

FFS, if it was a boy racer Joe would be asking the caller if he's sure it wasn't 300kph he was doing, the disgraceful scobes.

But because there's a charidee attached the caller is mad and a car can't drive 200kph because it's impossible for a ve-hickle to do such speeds.
