Interesting spec - RHD (with RHD wipers), but US-style side-markers and non-original fog & reverse lights - I wonder where it lived before Irl?

    Great spot!

Great spot! I can't remember when I last saw a 404 in the flesh.

I stripped many a one down in the late 70s early 80s. The difference in weight between a wing of one of those and a Cortina was immense.

My father had a few of them and 504 and 305 estates after that.

Few from Naxos, Greece, in some random village along or way. Spotted more but no pics.

Not sure what the red Toyota is, poor 4Dr E30 has seen better days while the other one looks well enough cared for (they were parked opposite one another).

True, they (and the predecessor K20) were assembled in Ireland and had no underbody protection. The only survivors are some two-door ones that were assembled in Japan.

Skerries this evening. Absolutely immaculate - the pic doesn't do it justice.

Classic Dutch plate (modern dutch plates are yellow).

    Lovely condition!

  • Registered Users Posts: 827 ✭✭✭PaulK_CCI

Correct, in fact it is an original Dutch Rover P5B Coupe from new, first registered in 1968 in Holland so was never imported or exported. Current owner has it since 1990!!! so I guess a proud and loyal owner to have kept or restored it in this condition. (it's on LPG gas though ;-) )   (with thanks to the Dutch version of Cartell)

    recent sightings around north Wicklow.

The Kadett has a roll cage fitted, looked immaculate.
I've seen the Bentley out and about all over Wicklow.
The camper is to give Duke some wood ;) - it's on a UK "L" reg, so that's around 72/73, bit of a blurry pic, I think the badge is a Vauxhall, or maybe it could be a Bedford??
