this '64 Morris Oxford appeared in the business park earlier - fantastic condition, bench seat up front. A friends Dad used to have one of these (in brown) through the 70s & 80s

And on the same street and not a classic as such but it's not often you see a Bristol in the flesh:

That Yellow mk 3 is my car , and we have been all over france and parts of europe in past few years ,while some don't like the stickers they represent places the car has been, the tow bar admit i never really thought id fit but it became a necessity as the family got bigger

I love the "coke bottle" ! Cool car , any pics of the interior ? Especially the dash and clocks? By the way,, what are those alloys? Are they OE or aftermarket ?

Nothing new if you've been following the "oldest car" thread over on motors. But nevertheless..

A forlorn looking camper in Lidl Coolock. As I left later on it had crossed over the road for a much needed carwash

    IMAG0410_zps3txeurf3.jpg

This passed me by just as I had taken the photo of the camper

    IMAG0411_zpsnxe9dof6.jpg

A chance spot in Portlaoise today. Any ideas?

Has anyone experience of posting pics from Google Photos? I've tried linking a few times but they wont display for me.

Let me know if you get the hang of it! Tried for ages to get it right and couldn't. Reluctantly changed over to flickr with an old yahoo address

I'll have a go again during the week. I've uploaded some pics from phones and laptops. Google have all the car pics conveniently grouped together. I can download them again and upload again to tinypic but it's a lot of hassle. Google give me a link to share but when I put it in IMG tags the post here comes up blank.

I've heard of this Tea bus doing the rounds, but hadn't seen it in action, though I remember hopping on & off these as a young fella in the 70s.
    The Capri was in Greystones

OMG, they've actually done it!!!! .....I was wondering if/when this would happen...

    ...they've issued a ZV plate ('ZV 11105') to a 1987 car?!! :confused::o

    (likewise 'ZV 11109' ...to a 1987 motorcycle?!)

"They've" provided the owner with what the owner has requested (and is entitled to it under the regulations). Otherwise they would have issued the default 'year' plate.

(I agree with your sentiments though).

I'm well aware of that. My point in highlighting it was to show that if 'they' had a bit of cop-on/interest/knowledge they would have updated the regulations and removed the option of putting a ZV plate on a 1987 car  :pac:

Have to agree with Silvera. It seems ridiculous having a ZV plate on any car that would normally have the latest reg system on it from new.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,251 ✭✭✭Thinkingaboutit

And from c 1991-92 EU plates are correct.
