Might have been a bit eager with my listings.

Hi.. I see the steinhart was withdrawn. Change of heart or has it gone to its new owner outside of adverts?

As per post above, off to a new owner.

Ahhhhh.. Apologies I hadn't refreshed in a while. Absolutely my luck not having checked this in some time.

    On to the next one

And a general bit of advice - don't withdraw an ad on adverts if you have actually sold the item. Years on and some people will reply to some other new ad you have asking if you still have xxxx item for sale :)

It was a request from the buyer.
They had an understandable reason why.

Laco Bell X1 Pilot Watch for sale
    https://www.adverts.ie/casual/laco-pilot-watch/19721232

Just a bit too big for my skinny wrists and I'm not wearing it.

    Hi all

I am selling off my watch collection. I have 3 mtg gshhocks that I always seem to always wear and the rest are just sitting there. My plan is to fund 1 good watch like this https://www.chrono24.com/omega/seamaster-planet-ocean-big-size--id12992686.htm

I will have a couple more too add to the selling collection. The sale of the watches is been handled by my brother who lives in Rush. I will do a good deal for boards members

All watches are in great condition as they were not worn much

Only got my Tisell a few weeks ago. But it has done its job (convince me to buy a Rolex), so it will have to go

    501828.jpg

Tisell 9015-EX in perfect condition. Miyota 9015 movement, sapphire AR, glidelock clasp. This is incredibly well made for this sort of money (the pic doesn't do it justice)

Bought directly from Tisell in South Korea for USD220

    Linky

I'll take a reasonable offer close enough to what I paid for it. Will stick it on adverts when I get a chance but would prefer if it sold directly here

My Omega speedmaster reduced moved fairly quickly on adverts, it seems a good way to shift a watch and not bad value at 6 euros for the ad.

    Adverts.ie general ads are free!

Unless you upgrade to a paid for ad of course.

Didn't see that seamaster for sale at all. Beautiful watch. I'd take that all day, any day, over the explorer, but sure that's the watch game innit. To each his own.

Seamaster went very quickly! To a regular poster on here thankfully :)

It was my dream watch for a very long time, took me at least a year to find the right one for me within my budget and I've owned it for 3 years. Time for me to pursue my new dream watch now though.

Seamasters (automatics) Moonwatches, Subs, and Stienharts....they all fly off adverts.

I think I will put the seamaster on a blue rubber strap and wear it. My wife gave it the thumbs up, for me its the definative dive watch - and the early ETA bond era ones have the memberberries.

You next watch will be along very soon unkel, thanks for the smooth transaction as always. So long as your idiot radar is on 100% I have had nothing but good experiences with adverts. Buyy the seller not the watch.

Are we allowed ask how much the seamaster went for?

Well wear and a pleasure meeting you again. No doubt our paths will cross again :)

I had it on a turquoise Isofrane all of last summer. Funky! A navy or orange rubber strap will work too.

Hi folks, regular snooper in this neck of the woods, if not a regular poster. I hope this doesn't go against the rules or spirit of things in here....

Anyone any advice on where to sell a watch?! I posted up photos here a while back and general consensus was that it isn't very desirable. Haven't bothered with adverts as a result. Similar models are listed on ebay and chrono24.co.uk for a good bit more than I'd be looking for.... But I'm nervous about using those sites as I'm not familiar with them. I'd also be a new user with no track record, and I'd be very nervous of international postage and the possibility of someone entering a dispute or something like that (is that a thing? Does PayPal allow them to obtain an item and then deny they got it or get money back somehow?....)

Anyway, just wondering if anyone has any advice or tips? I have flittered away a fair few quid on watches, some of which I hardly ever wear, and think over the next few months I might try and offload a few and maybe make one substantial (for me) purchase.....

I'll give you a fiver for it and kids size pink jacket. What watch is it?

(just getting you prepared for posting on adverts.ie - only joking, it really is a very good site. Just put up an ad, make sure people can only collect it from you in person, put in a few pics and an honest description and a reasonable price, accept some hassle from time wasters, but you are likely to get it sold for ok money)

What watch is it and give us a link to a very similar model in similar condition on Chrono24?

Thanks, yeah I've used adverts which I'm fine with, I just think that the watch will never shift on there for anything like what I might get elsewhere, but am nervous of using an online /post a watch to god knows where type of thing.....

The watch is per posts 1640 and 1641 on this thread, don't know how to link to there
