    Much embarrase

You could of course go for a Replicant owl with glowing red eyes as in Bladerunner....

    AnnaRettberg_bladerunner.jpg

Rachael: Do you like our owl?
    Deckard: It's artificial?
    Rachael: Of course it is.
    Deckard: Must be expensive.
    Rachael: Very.

    .....

A dire wolf and a penguin.

They'd be friends so the penguin wouldn't get eaten.
I have a fox, a chicken, a sack of corn and a boat that has enough room for me and one other...

I think a tarantuala would be a cool pet to have, give it an insect every now and again and it's happy out.

Been there, done that and still have the bite mark to prove it.
Then again I shouldn't have been hand feeding a Tarantulas :)

    The Pussycat Times

    Small Ads:

One Owl, house trained. Good maritime navigational skills. Free to nice home.

Also, slightly battered boat. Pea green in colour.

Can't get much cheeper than that.

Owls are some of the least intelligent birds, in fact most bricks would compare favourably in the IQ department. From what I've heard from falconers, they are quite difficult to train to hunt - even well trained owls will more often than not completely ignore prey walking by only a few feet away.

    /serious answer

    tldr: buy a brick instead

Yeah, I too have heard that owls are not very talon - ted

I'd love a crow or a raven for a pet even though they have a habit of escaping from their cage and re-arranging your furniture

    Seriously. They're awesome
