It should be easy to get a defensive coach from anywhere and they don't have to have links with the club, they have to be the best person for the job.

I think City could be up there or thereabouts for decades, it's intimidating. With Utd they seemed to crumble as soon as Fergie left though they had deficiencies in their squad long before. City go from strength to strength.

FFP looks like a load of bs, City can pay those fines all day. I'm much more worried about them than anyone else in the league.

Proof is in the pudding with FFP. The 60m fine will have to be counted in the next 3 years accounts (possibly taken from prize money) , plus the committee UEFA set up to look at accounts said that the sponsorship deals (where Etihad were involved) should only be taken at half their publicised value.

It'll be interesting to see if the PL financial rules will have a bearing on things.

I've read otherwise ie the Sheikh could just write a cheque. Obviously it should go through the FFP compliant accounting for three years.
