Not Liverpool. But since the media had a field day with Suarez I wonder will they be in such an outrage as they were with Suarez

US baseball player 'loses part of ear' in fight with team-mate

Guerrero will need plastic surgery, his agent says, after Olivo allegedly bit part of his ear off.

Not this side of the pond anyways. Over there I'd say there'll be a hullaballoo about it for a week until LeBron hit's 50 or Durant hits 60 during a play-off game

Article on Suso at Bleacher Report (which isn't rubbish as per usual) - http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2069479-scouting-report-did-liverpools-almeria-loanee-suso-succeed-or-fail

For me, the comparison with Lallana isn't entirely fair. The quality of players he plays with at Southampton is decent and they generally all play to a high level and are technically very good. Almeria on the otherhand were apalling when I watched them. Technically very poor, awful in possession; Suso very often found himself isolated and I think that reflects in his passing stats. If you dropped Suso into the Southampton team, then I think you'd see increased performance for sure, he might even get close to the kind of statistics that Lallana showed this season.

    I keep forgetting about Suso.

I just figured out why Dermot Keely was spitting such nonsense the other night. Check his wiki page and see if you can spot it.

Ah, it's pure speculation on the Mirror's part regarding Konoplyanka. I was worried it was a credible source for a moment. Phew.
Unfortunately it's not just The Mirror but the Ukraines main paper and his agent now confirming Utd's interest.
    http://gazeta.ua/news/sport

    His agent....
"LFC's loss of interest is not true. There has lately been activity from Manchester United"
    "

    **warning Google translate alert **

Representative football "Dnepr" and team of Ukraine Yevhen Linnet denied information that the English "Liverpool" has lost interest in his client.

"Now this time, almost every day I get more than five calls from my colleagues who are interested in Eugene. Loss of information of interest" Liverpool "is not true. Poms further contact with us and do not leave to buy the player. Lately higher activity shows another English club - "Manchester United".

Representatives of this team have been on a few games "Dnepr" including the last game of the Donetsk "Metallurg". If you reach the concrete from English clubs, Jack, is likely to accept the offer. However, in the case of "Man", he realizes that the loss of the opportunity to play in the Champions League with "Being". Although the same "Manchester" is much more likely to play in the Champions League rather than "Being".

Recently active call from the German "Schalke". If the option titled with foreign clubs fall, the Eugene may well stay in Odessa. At least none of the domestic club - "Miner", "Dynamo" or "Metalist" Linnet certainly not pass. "

Recall that last winter at the last moment broke Linnet transition to the English "Liverpool". Since then some domestic media wrote that mersysaydtsi lost interest in Ukrainian midfielder.

TBH I wouldn't mind seeing our mettle tested in the group stages. Of course I don't want a group of death but I wouldn't want to qualify from a group like you mentioned only to be hopelessly outmatched by the first serious challenge we face.

That depends on what we want from it.... Each win and draw has an amount of Prize money

Think £1m for win, £500k for draw (this doubles in 2015)
Rnd of 16 has £3.5m in prize money

This is on top of the TV money. 2 extra games in the scheme of things means very little. But to win all 6 group games could mean an extra £9.5m to the club

I meant it more that the baseball news won't make it over here and it won't last as long over there as the Suarez news did here or there.
