That seems really good value for what you got. I really need to get my seats steam cleaned above anything, needs a proper wax too. Should get it done for a fair price if I get it serviced at the same time.

A you should do. Just need to shop around I suppose.

Also while I'm on here. I need to get a present for a relation who's big into car cleaning/ detailing. Does anyone know do halfords have anything decent or on offer or any suggestions. I suppose 20-30 quid it's only just to get him something small really. Hopefully I'll come across something in there. I need to get it tomorrow. If I had planned ahead I probably would of got something better online.

I have my doubts about the pics of this car being the real ones, english plates, and the carzone logo on the second pic. The same car isn't on carzone

Those are French plates they are on meaning it is left hand drive, notice that the wipers are set up in the opposite direction.

Too lazy to take a picture of their own car!

What would one use to clean the sunvisors in a car ?

The passenger one in particular is covered in makeup from the last owner !

And also to clean the plastics panals I.e where the seat belt retracts ?

What is the sun visor made from?

On the hard plastics an all purpose cleaner and possibly a soft brush if the plastic is textured and a cloth :)

Build it yourself, materials are very cheap (concrete pad, angle iron and box profile sheeting) mine is that size and cost less than a grand.

A voucher from Clean Car or Detailing Shed would be the way if go - they can pick whatever they want and it's delivered to them.

We sold one of them sheds on adverts a few months ago. Good bit bigger than that one about 10m * 5m ish. It was the green metal panel one with insulated roof. Comfortably fit a car. I put it on adverts for 900 quid was absolutely stalked by people. The ad got taken of off adverts due to people fighting over it. One lad gave me negative rating because I didn't sell it to him for 700 even though there was plenty of 900 offers :) . Long story short I could have sold about 10 of them. There obviously very popular I didn't realise that.

Nice. Gives me a bit of hope. 10m would have been a bit big for my space. Just want room for 1 big car really with a few feet around it to work

Go have a look at a place that sells them and you will see how simple they are to build.

Though 6m seems huge it won't with a car in it. A Passat is 4.8m long for example. This will only give you 2 feet in front and behind it.

Passats are 15 feet long ?

SG, make sure you get one with an insulated roof. Otherwise condensation will drip all over your car. ;)

And dirt is gone from around sunvisors etc ... yay!

Also haha baldy, the roof on your z4 wont go up as your driving down the n4 in the pissing rain !

I just got him a few autoglym sets in halfords. Never thought of the voucher to them websites they'd certainly have anything he'd ever want cleaning wise. Thanks though I'll know for the next time.

Just looking on twitter. The aa road watch and garda traffic are ripping the piss out of each other !

    Top marks all round !

Drove to. Brussels in the luxobarge; forgot how close they like to cut in after overtaking. Very irritating in the rain. Decided to put the foot down and 400bhp left them far behind. The A16/E40 needs to be 3 lanes with all the artics heading east bound.

    My driving is getting worse.

While normally I would be happy to dawdle behind a slow moving car because I knew a diesel wouldn't have the power to make a safe overtake, now... I'm going for it more and more often and get up to much higher speeds in the process.

Ah diesel is grand.. I bearly care for the difference. Between it and petrol anymore.

Turbo boost I think helps for overtaking when timed right !

It's not the diesel that's the problem...

The last diesel I drove was.... gutless. It boosts for 1500rpm, then bleurgh. And the next gear just kills any momentum dead beause it's geared so tall.

The car that I drive now, is anything but. It just encourages you to keep your foot in all the way to the redline.

Any opinions on a 2002 E320 CDI Mercedes? Looking for a car for a company based in Poland.
The vehicle would be used for Airport Transfers and guest transport.

How much would a 2004 1.4 golf be worth. For me not much as they are underpowered. Weird ad as well. And to owner no I cannot imagine me sitting in that pile of crap car.
