How do people have the patience to really clean an engine bay. I start with a wipe to the engine cover,
    engine cover???
    then the battery cover
    battery cover??? Law-dee-daw like!!!:pac: :p;)

I will never ever clean one of these:

Because once you get it to a clean stage it is quite easy to keep it clean.

Concentrate on one area each time. Next time concentrate on another area and a quick clean to area one. Eventually it will be spotless and easy to maintain.

A boxer is still gonna look like a box of spare engine accessories no matter you do. Best you can do is put fancy hoses in. Oh well. Can't see it when you're driving.

What year is your legacy? Whatever way I'm looking at it, seems the intercooler is bigger in yours.

Random pic off the net. If it isnt worth cleaning its not worth photographing in my book. Similar to mine though.
Ej255. Don't think the legacy / outback got the turbo ej255. Only the impreza and forester (Impreza in pic)

Love the squared off look of the M62 V8s Eric. The newer ones looks all fluffy and girly. :p

Front chrome grill colour changed. Thanks to Foxhole Norman for introducing PlastiDip
There are few bubbles, I think I will need to strip off and do it again.

My new (ish) bus. Diesel, but pleasant all the same.

And beside the other half's little motor... and some lovely bins!

Almost sure I spotted that mini by the South court hotel earlier. Been noticing a few 10+ years old minis that have been well looked after lately.

Was thinking myself that that mini looks very fresh for a 04.

wish I had parking space like that, I am going to have to leave my place as I can't park my car anymore. A new red car parked next to the Ford carrier has moved in and it blocks me from reversing.

Just back from Germany and I took the Honda to see if the car performs well enough at speed.
Still a slight dead spot but I got it up to 130mph which I was surprised with tbh... It was at 4000rpms but chickened out pushing it harder.
So I can more or less confirm the car is better :)

My bonnet starts to vibrate around as you close in on the 200kph. Not encouraging. Windscreen rubber surround tried to depart the first time... Ah windscreen fitters... consumate professionals one and all...
