No bud, he's a big, strong, boisterous dog. When in the vets today there was a 10 month old springer there and my lad Dennis dwarfed him. He's showing loads of promise and I'm glad he's a big breed, I wanted a good strong dog.

What's his breeding and what part of the country is he from.

I don't know to be honest pal, my mates dad had a bitch in pup, she was from up the country (I'm in Cork), she was a cracking bitch and apparently the father of the litter is a serious rough shooting dog from Kinsale somewhere.

I've no papers for him, to be honest the chap doesn't be too bothered about lines and papers etc, he just wants good rough shooting dogs.

Hey lads, I'm going to have to let my fella go, gutted to say the least but there's nothing I can do. Need to re home him in the next week so if anyone wants a cracking little dog take a look at my thread in the FS section.

I had a bitch from peter Reynolds in blessington. Badger court all the way. Line bred her back to his own dog and kept a pup. The biggest springer in ireland!! He is 14 now and I only managed to get one pup of him loads of drive but half the size and solid liver in color. Most unusual. I'm hunting a clarburgh bitch now small wiry but great drive and stamina. Better than mine I'm killed trying to keep up. This'll be her 3rd season. Beginning to get sense I've had more fun with this dog than all the others
