Given the weekend that's in it I've put together what I think are decent deals on alcoholic beverages, feel free to add anything I have missed :D Tesco Heineken or Coors Light 20x330ml bottles - 1 for €22 or 2 for €35. Slabs are in Dunnes! Carling, Carlsberg, and the Canadian lager all 24 for 30 euros. Bulmers 18 pack for 24 euros. I thought I saw 24 of Guinness too but can't be sure of that but I'm guessing they should be available too.

I saw them putting slabs of Guinness on the shelves in Dunnes Cornelscourt 2 days ago so should be plenty there

perlenbacher xxl 8 for price of 6 in new lidl in Wilton Cork. Dont think it is on anywhere else. Probably old stock or just to promote new shop

Cheers, does anyone know if Tesco are still accepting Dunnes Vouchers? Ive a couple of 10 off 40 ones i want to use and a slab wouldnt be a bad idea to make up most of the 40

I was in Clarehall earlier, no pricing on the shelves as being 24 for €30 but when they went through the till they were priced as 24 for €30. The website has them as 24 for €30, as far as I know once the website has them that's how they are priced nationally...with perhaps the exception of the small Tesco convenience stores.

I’d like to know this too. It’s ridiculously expensive over here for what is supposed to be a young inexpensive wine. I too have only gotten it for a decent price up north. You can’t stock up either as it doesn’t age well.

Sainsburys well worth a trip especially now that they have 25% off when buying 6 bottles, Oyster Bay for €6.80 a bottle is a bargain as is Faustino 1 Grand Reserve Rioja for €14.50.
The number of ROI reg cars in Newry car parks yesterday was huge
considering it was only end of September.
If the exchange rate stays around the same level for next few months, it will be carnage for drink sellers in the Republic.
