Given the weekend that's in it I've put together what I think are decent deals on alcoholic beverages, feel free to add anything I have missed :D Tesco Heineken or Coors Light 20x330ml bottles - 1 for €22 or 2 for €35. I bought Connemara Single Malt Whiskey - 19,99e per bottle. normal price was around 39e. Tesco Galway - but probably national deal

That's no bargain vodka last year was smirnoff and huzzar at 1ltr €20 each at different times

Well if you can find either for €20 a litre in this country I will buy you a bottle, it's simply not possible with the current rates of duty.

No I know it has gone so expensive sorry didn't mean to look like was putting your post down it's so annoying how expensive it;'s all got.

Yes I agree price of spirits has gone crazy, I think most of the current deals are in or around below cost selling with the duty so high.

Normal price for that 1l is 29.99 !! Not a huge saving but a saving nonetheless

EDIT - Tesco website say the normal price is €32.80 !! Flippin eck

Centra have 24-can slabs of Carlsberg and Carling for €25 and 24 cans of Bulmers, Heineken or Budweiser for €30

I think SuperValu have similar offers, they have the Carlsberg anyway.
