Finally, a drinks offer I can get my teeth sunk into! Its been ages since a decent offer like this has been around. I'm going to stock up with about 8 slabs of Guinness.

Any idea how long of a best before they'd have on Guinness?

Seen it for €38.30 in Dunnes there.

It would be at least 6 months or more and you have Christmas in between as well.

Do the breweries and retailers not realise that if they mess around with the percentage volume of alcohol in beer, that they're also messing around with the taste??
4% ABV for Stella is just plain criminal. I can't imagine it having the crisp taste of normal Stella. I've seen also Carlsberg cans with 3.8% ABV. They may as well be pouring it from a water tap.

3.8 Carlsberg is UK stock - it's always that there.

Its mainly the hops used in brewing that gives it the taste.

ABV only determines the strength of the beer.

But then again I suppose all things are relevant...

Has anybody been able to find this.
I have tried Nutgrove, Stillorgan and Dundrum with no success.
