Annie power will be running in the champion hurdle. I'm that confident I backed her pure ante post last night @ 8-1 knowing well she will go off 4's on the day...I lose my stake if she doesn't run...Still am open to our Conor so will lay when the comes if I change my mind. Can't see UDS going so I have kissed my 25's on that one good bye
Please can you welcome into the winners enclosure the winner of the 2014 world hurdle Zarkandar The Great!!

He'll probably stay and take on imperial shabra and Aklan again

If i was the owner i would be fairly annoyed. We still don't know how good the horse is. If the horse is going to Cheltenham he needs to have a decent challenge first.

Why not back her with Paddy Power at 7/1 and NRNB?

You're betting on Ruby not being selfish and doing his best to force their hand. Not a nice position to be in IMO.

For the 1 point less you should of covered your hole and went with NRNB. Dont be giving the bookies easy money because she may not run in the Champion.

Was zarkandar not 16/1 only a couple of days ago.
    8/1 is scandalous.

He was 12 or north of it if I remember. The only value would be taking the biggest ante post price and Annie Power not running.

The likes of Mala Beach and Holywell would be interesting at bigger prices but they look like they are going chasing.

Either way if Annie Power runs she wins.

Ricci provides the ingredients, Mullins bakes the cake, ruby serves it up .. Without the ingredients there will be no baking

    8/1 is scandalous.

Zarkandar was available at 12's the evening before pricewise advised it along with Rule The World for the WH.
Last week there was nibbles of 14s available for sure, I'm sure some people are on it at a lot bigger, I was hoping to see some good prices once more firms went NRNB and wanted the business but once Tom Segal pointed it out then it was time for me to have an interest.

I'm very interested in seeing how it all goes if they all line up fit and well, D Jacob, Has he made the right choice ? maybe in March his decision will be vindicated.

Hurdle races called off at Sandown tomorrow so we won't be seeing Un De Sceaux.

Shame, that said I didn't think he would have gone anyway

    Very risky bet.

Regardless she won't go off 4s, race is way too competitive and she's very unproven.

Taking 8/1 ante post vs 7/1 NRNB only gives you 8s on she shows up.

While a lot of people were chomping at the bit when I put 6/4 up I can't imagine too many people make her 1/8

Taking the 8/1 antepost is utterly ridiculous.

I've been doing a lot of my antepost multiples with Bet365.

Not only are they NRNB on the 4 championhip races + the Ryanair they're also best odds guaranteed.

I'd prefer to take the 6/1 NRNB BOG if I was backing her.

Mala Beach won a Grade 2 hurdle last week, not a chase.

Only a small one-if she runs she'll be shorter than 8's

I'd agree with the others 7s nrnb would have been safer.

I reckon she will go off 13/2 or so at worst if she runs.

Money seems to be fairly split though, everyone has their supporters.

I was looking at stats and only two 10 year olds have ever won the Champion Hurdle.
Still I suppose Hurricane has been one of the best ever.
    I thought Rooster Booster was 10, he's down as a 9yo

Only one horse had regained the Champion Hurdle before last year.

interesting-in fairness though, dessie hughes did say(two races ago) that Our Conor would need both races to get him 100% for the CH, and he too has winning form on the course, where in hughes own words"cheltenham improved him a stone".If he does improve again and gets there 100%,on a track that brought him to life last year, then he will put it up to HF,who,as we know doesn't perform as well there as he does here in ireland.Would be nice to see a third win for HF...,my only concern about Our Conor is the jockey
