In terms of the Ruby comments, read his book.

He mentions this "outside the door" term repeatedly. Its always been his mantra.

I think its been blown out of proportion by some in the press, but he clearly meant no disrespect to Our Conor or the connections.

i agree but in this day and age where animal rights, hippies and vegetarians go ape **** when a horse dies I can sometimes understand their anger because in some cases these are avoidable
This begs the question - are course clerks under pressure and by whom.
Very clear the course should have been watered

Just playing the Devils Advocate here, but whats to say the course had anything to do with it?

He was trampled by The New One, which could have easily caused the back injury.

Its an awful thing to happen, and even though he's only been racing a year, Our Conor was one of my favourite horses to watch, but there is no point looking for a scapegoat. These things happen unfortunately, and there is not always a reason for it.

    Just bad luck.

dont have a link but its on racing post, regardless of what he said I think the watering has been an issue and the media has and do (due to huge sponsership) water these issues down

Ya, Ruby's right in fairness. Even OC's ex-owner Noel Hayes has said same on Twitter.

yeah he is right but does not do the game any favours, especially after the death of a high profile horse

he may be right but he always has this ignorant obnoxious tone and attitude, and it obviously showed here,he didn't need to be so blunt

He speaks with an arrogance but he's like that with everything so shouldn't be taken out of context when discussing death of Our Conor.

The horses owner said almost the same thing, nothing wrong with what Walsh said IMO.
