I've said that every week for a month and he seems to get 10 pts each week without fail. He is probably a player for the rest of the season.
Then you've had a month to make room for him gradually. Do that now and you won't have to give out about it in a months time and you'll be much better off for it. 8 points hit the week before you've a wildcard available to you? Would advise against it.

Moyes has said Rooney is a doubt.

    He didn't train today.

Well wouldn't that be just peachy :(

Ashley Williams and Ben Turner play City and Arsenal respectively. A bad week to be relying on my bench!

    You have a bench? Nice.
I have only Whittaker left who is not injured, but he won't play anyway...
Another gameweek i want to forget about before it even started.
There is a hope Zabaleta is back against Swansea. He must be back.

Well I say bench. They were the players who were meant to be on my bench.

As I said above I have Ozil, Silva, Walcott, Ravel and Rooney. On top of anyone else who decides they want to screw me over.

I've just realised that I can't use my secret weapon Gerrard because I already have 3 Liverpool players.

Back to the drawing board. I'll deserve those drinks later :pac:

Manonne or De Gea for GW 20 lads?

He's risky this week anyway. Rodgers' words didn't fill me with confidence.

With all these doubts, looks like I'll have to be aggressive and transfer Silva out, but nobody stands out (have Walcott, Hazard, Barkley and Bannan). Maybe Cazorla in.

There's talk of Walcott missing tomorrow's game, he's down as 75%.

Mannone. I'd fancy Sunderland to keep a clean sheet at home to a mis-firing Aston Villa. De Gea is up against a resurgent Spurs, I expect them to concede.

Brought in Mert and Walcott for Chico and Ozil. Not looking at this game til next year

Morrison out for Sterling. Did this before the price changes.
May make another one as the team news is jot good re injuries and suspensions.

I have about an hour and I'll have to commit then. Do we think Rooney will be ok? Or will Ravel be back?

I'm thinking of bringing in Kos for Williams as part of a long-term strategy and playing 4 at the back this week. Turner could make it 5 if either of the above don't play but it's probably the better transfer to make.

Hasn't Moyes said this about 15 times this year already, only for Rooney to make a miraculous recovery and score 2 goals ?

    RE: Rooney.

we can't actually know anymore whether Moyes is bullshítting or not.

the fact he didn't train would merely suggest that he could be out, but even that could be bullshít.

    RE: Walcott.

i'd be confident enough of him starting. he trained. without Ozil, Ramsey and possibly Giroud, i think even if Theo isn't 100%, he will be risked as Cardiff could be stubborn.

    oh, and RE: Suarez.

with no Sturridge, unless Suarez's leg is hanging off, he'll be starting.

    Arteta or Santi?

Considering Santi has been poor and tired and Arteta fresh and on penalties.

Yep Arteta for me is obvious option

I'd be more than happy with Rooney not playing at all, once the other 10 of my starting 11 all start! But with Nasri, Hazard, Walcott and Suarez not 100% I'm a little nervous. All should start, including Rooney, but can't be sure. I really want to play Gabbidon though, I think Palace get a clean sheet.

But if Arsenal don't get a penalty he pretty much never does anything..

Arteta and Kos in. Now I just hope Rooney plays or Ravel as a back up plays.

Have a a happy new year and I'll see ye on the other side, most likely tomorrow evening :pac:

    Is rooney due to play??

Could go either way, having not trained today, you'd have to go towards saying no.

Just catching up on the thread and half my team seem to be in doubt for tomorrow.

It's the joys of Xmas. I wouldn't panic lads. Just roll with it.

Any players that miss tomorrow will be back for Saturday week after the Cup.

My own bench consists of Mutch and Ben Turner away to Arsenal and suspended Silva so not much there to be excited about.

Rooney out, Podolski in? Anyone want to talk me out of it?!

Yeah, you're probably gonna want Rooney back tomorrow evening for your wildcard, or even if you're not using that, at home to Swansea on the 11th. Unless you've no value invested in Rooney this isn't a good idea.
