Looking forward to hearing peoples thoughts on it. I was mad for it, read and heard some previews and cooled my interest, seemingly pretty poor, so be looking forward to hearing positive reviews if there are any

I've enjoyed and would rate it far better than reviews suggest. There are flaws though, lip syncing is embarrassingly bad and general cut scenes have issues with garreth cutting in and out. Also npc characters can get caught in the same conversation loop for minutes on end. The game play is most important to me thought and it is good a being a sneaking game and rewarding you with loot, while at the same time upgrading tools available to you.

do you think them flaws will be fixed in an update? they sound like they can be annoying

Seventy quid in Gamestop. I think Thief 4 will be my first purchase from that Canadian site.

The conversation one could easily be fixed the cut scenes and lip syncing probably won't as it just seemed to be lazy development of them in the first place.

This has probably been asked and answered a million times, but can I buy PS4 games in the US store and play them on my EU profile?

Yup, it works no problem. As long as the US account is set primary on the ps4

I pre order all my non pc stuff through amazon. Typically if you pre-order when they first go up on the site (like 8 months in advance in most cases) you get a silly price for it. I paid €27 for the latest Batman for PS3, and €34 for GTa 5.

I had Thief pre-ordered but cancelled after hearing a lot of bad stuff, it was like €43 euro.

You get it at the price you pre-order, it's always dirt cheap early.

Gamestop can **** off, I felt like I was bargaining with the devil when I had to buy my console there, but no way I'd pick up anything else from there.

That Canadian site is coming good for people is it?

I will always champion VGP, especially with the ridiculous prices we pay in the likes of Gamestop over here, never had a problem with them in over 2 years, even when they had the data hack ( no credit card info was taken and they have vastly improved their security since ). Most new PS3 games are €40, some can be gotten as low as €25, all new Vita games are €25 and all PS4 games are €40 as well. You pay €5 per delivery on items and you can always expect to get you games in around 7-10 days, 12 days in rare cases, but it has nearly always 10 days or under for me.

Also if you get any used games from them, the shipping is free, picked up Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning for €6 off of them after I found out I lost my disk.

    Just curious.

Am I right in assuming the Gold headphones are the same as the ones being advertised as 2.0 on amazon?

Nope, just to get the DLC which is fairly simple.

Robbers. People must be paying it too or else they wouldn't be charging it.

Yeah, i picked up thief in xtravision... 70 fecking euro, the name of the game fits the price. cdwow have it for 40e, but damn it i wasnt in the mood for a 2 week wait.

Now that all the launch buzz has died down, Im starting to remember why buying into a system at launch isnt the wisest choice.

cdwow is only ok if you are prepared to wait 2-4 weeks. it literally travels on the back of a snail from hong kong to ireland, takes the scenic route, stops for cocktails in spain and pedals its way through france before hoping on a rowboat to ireland

Yeah, i regretted using cdwow at launch for BF4 and AC4. Ordered them a week before the EU launch of the PS4, and waited 3 weeks in total for them to get here. For 2 weeks the PS4 sitting there with feck all to play.. still, i got them both for 100e, so saved 40.
Ill use them again for probably wolfenstein, they generally get stuff to me by 2 and a half weeks.. long enough wait, thats why ill be picking up infamous day 1 over town, another bloody 70euro ^^

Honestly I'd sooner save €20 euro and wait a week or two than hand over €70 just to have it release day. Thanks to owning a high end PC I find myself being able to pick up new titles for under €25 on or before release day.

Cheapest I can see thief is 62, but its not worth that sure. Give it a few weeks.
