While there's noise there it's not so bad, only when the nose starts to go again should you be worried :)

I once nursed a joint in my passat for 9 months!

its been whining away for the last 4mths of my ownership and god know how long before that.. Bought it from a hairdresser and she had never heard of CV joints before when I was asking about the noises..

But she was hot so Ill forgive her;)

atm Im 50/50 wait and see if we can get a Meath hillbilly convoy going

If its a white one - seen that a few months ago.

I was actually wondering how does a car like that - that was never sold here new - get approved to be a taxi .

Not saying theres anything wrong with that Bluebird - but thought the crowd doing the approval tests over here - would only do cars that were actually sold new in Ireland.

In fact - I was pleased to see it operating as a taxi - simply because it was an import :D something different for a change.

Not the nicest looking car to be fair - I think the Tiida type styling at the front looked crap - and the rear privacy glass on the white car didn't help it at all I thought.

I seen pictures of a Bluebird similar to it - on an online article - in a different colour - and it looked a lot nicer - so maybe colour was part of the problem on this one

Ah Id love to head for a spin in Wicklow Mtns:D but my Civic needs a CV joint and engine mounts so I wouldnt be able to enjoy or trust driving it that far in its current state.:o

I know the feeling.... Upper control arm bushing gone on the drivers side, front wheel bearing growling Away on the passenger side.
I know it could do it no problem, but I wouldnt enjoy it :o

It's the only place I definitively know how to get to.... despite all the drives I do out by the sally gap and roundwood, I never follow a map so I never know where I am!

You're not the first person who's said that, but I'm going to be putting it in the shed anyway, the Legend will be taking its place tomorrow.

No, I'm holding out for a JDM one, cos I need a bootlid, plus I want to have my own taxed tomorrow morning for the year.
