You'll change your mind when they give you a cost to change sometime!

That must be to claw back for cheaper parts their selling :) I couldn't believe the price differences. We seem to always get robbed when it comes to buying anything in kilkenny not just car parts.

Cities can afford to have lower prices, towns on the other hand... :pac:

Is it just me or is the VRT calculator not working for anyone else? Won't let you select a transmission type no matter what car you pick

Yeah but the cars you want to import are so old, they don't have gearboxes :pac:

Most of the old 90s Japanese Cars come in at OMSP €2500 which is cool, but for a 95 Supra Twin turbo its €9002 and they have taken Skylines off the Calculator altogether.

Will enterprise rent me a car while under 25 ?

I had a car off them before when I was hit by another driver and they didn't even take a deposit of me ....

On the way home and noticed the car in front was a bit smokey. Then it dawned that it was my car. So pulled in around the corner and noticed I never put the dam oil cap back on!. So I put it on an headed over a garage to check everything over and clean up some oil splatter on the heatshield. Oil level was ok and no harm done just some oily mess to clean up at the weekend. I don't know how the cap stayed in the same spot, was blessed :o.

Anyone any experience in wrapping any pieces of interior trim and how did they turn out? The interior of the Volvo is fairly dull and boring and there's a few pieces of trim that might be nice as a different colour (silver/grey) to the main upholstery. Nothing major, just something to break up the interior a bit .

I rented a car off them in the uk last year at 24. I paid a daily "young driver" charge on top of the rental cost though

Drove a van there with the power steering gone bust. I think I broke my wrist :o

That's heavier than a van with no power steering at all, so don't feel bad.

    pffft lightweight

I drove around with a busted power steering pump for 3 months, had arms the size of trees after it

Drove it for only a few miles, but Lord we're blessed with power steering. Anyway, that's my moan of the day just about done...

I bought a car knowing it has no power steering, I'm also considering making a manual brake swap. :D

Myself, Ardennes and Conzy all wrapped the interiors in our E46's with CF wrap. All turned out grand.

Go slowly and it'll all be grand, make small cuts near bends to allow it to get into the curves properly. It's relatively straightforward, just make sure the surface you're putting it on is cleaned well and make sure you have enough to actually wrap around the piece.

I watched a few videos on it and it looks handy. Did ye use heat for it to sit into the awkward parts?

Have you got the car running since it broke down. Or is it the fuel pump that's the problem ? Did you end up buying a brand new pump ?

Drove a 1997 VW Polo without power steering. Didn't bother me at all.

Nope, still cranking and not starting, it is the pump as theres no pressure on the fuel rail when you turn it to the on position, in the astra there's pressure, and yeah brand new pump sitting here beside me, things left me stone broke, I've so much minus money I'm rich....in negativeness :pac:
