Anyone into the whole negative camber look?

I cant get my head around it. Looks like collapsed suspension and wears tyres out more quickly.

    :pac:

    Style is broken looking?
Fair enough on a rat rod but anything shiny just looks broken.

Dont get me wrong, each to their own and all that but i dont see the point.
    Does it really improve cornering?

    Apparently!

I'd love to go the opposite route and put a heap of positive camber on it just to p1ss them all off :pac:

The e30 and e34 and probably my favorite of the 3 and 5 series.

Between facelifts, m-sports, m's, coupe's etc. you can get some nice models and some ugly ones on the same chassis.

Youd probably need some seriously flared arches for that! Or jus remove the wings altogether :D

    Plus cornering would be...fun?

Not into all that mad low stuff but I am partial to a bit of lowering. Something that makes the car look well, such as the E24 I linked.

To a point yes it would. But it's easy to go too far and make handling worse. I imagine it affects braking/tire wear etc quite badly too...

I don't know how you would get anywhere with a stanced car. Would like to get a set of coilovers for my next car though and drop it about 50mm or so.

Agreed. My own car was factory lowered and looks better than other models imo

Agreed again, A quick google image search of negative camber shows some crazy tyre wear.

I always assumed a lot were on some sort of air suspension that allowed them to be lowered, for the look. But raised again for actual driving.

I'm not into it either. Well, I'm not into the extremes with ridiculous camber, and "just a little bit of rubbing"

A friend of mine has just got his A3 bagged which allows just that. Cost him an arm and a leg though. It is much more secure now that it can't move when he parks it up :pac:

It does but you need to balance it with straight line grip. No use on a road car though. The harder the cornering the more negative camber you can use.

They're really running big camber this season compared with previous ones, noticed that myself during the 3 rounds!

Love these thermal cameras. You can see it all at work, even the inside wear on the straights.
