just back in from trying to get a micra started that has been sitting up for over a year.
Oh, and the brakes are seized for good measure.

After a good hour (including jumping it with the truck :P ) I had to return home defeated. She's turning over now but won't start.

My micra was sitting up for 2 years and started up first time the other week :P

Great engines, probably only something simple. A good chug of petrol straight down the t/b helps.

Wouldn't run at all until I realised the brake servo vacuum hose was loose

Could be a blocked fuel line or filter, try spray some engine start spray into the air filter housing. If the engine starts its more than likely a fuel supply issue.

Well boards being down has really improved the quality and amount of study I got done today! I might pass my exam tomorrow yet:D

Motoring related: I don't think I have washed my car since mid November :( Can't wait to get it looking proper again!

Am I the only mad one here that went out and washed the car in that rain today. Makes washing it 10 times easier.

Boards being down meant I cleaned my bedroom, did some laundry and read three books.

On motoring related fronts, I have to take the bus tomorrow :(

Yeah tried that, and also checked spark plugs for corrosion.
It kindof turns over, but not starting and not really sounding like it was going to.

    What happened?

Boards being down meant I got less study done than normal, as I go mad if I can't procrastinate.

I come in at 5:30 PM and stay until 8 AM. Can't wait to buy the 6 Series (sshhh) and come in during normal hours.
