Someone please save the Jag's wheels.

Don't actually know what size they are,but I do know they'll fit nothing I own.
Only went in to get two wheel studs for my Ciroen Picasso, and left with the drivers seat of that Mercedes mini-bus as well.

Someone please save the Jag's wheels.

They are called Dimples I bought a set Yonks ago.

The square bumper reflectors mean it's a straight six car 3.2 or 4 Litre.
The black door trims means it's a sport.
A low specced model to try to attract a younger buyer.

Probably the Most reliable XJ6 as Ford were heavily involved in its production.
I had one that exact colour.

    Useless info, just reminiscing.:)

It must be a 3.2 then, I lifted the bonnet and thought it said 3.4 on the rocket. Very clean and straight inside and out.
Owner would have been lucky to get €250 over the weighbridge, and €5 a wheel deduction for the cost of recycling the tyres....

What a shame, that looks lovely. Would they bale stuff like that immediately or break them for a while?

I bought a beautiful 3.2 sport a few years ago for €250, 97-LK-1 was the reg. I sold it to a Syrian fella who said he was exporting it to Damascus!

If bits are selling, it'll hang around a while, if not they'll drain the fluids, pull off the wheels and tyres, and the Senneboggen will rip out the engine and gearbox, and any alloy suspension bits that might be there, and they will go into the furnace for smelting.
RIP out as much of the wiring loom as possible with the digger and a rotating grab, fr the copper content.
    Just bale the rest.
It's in a precarious position, just inside the gate.
They are getting so much stuff in they are getting it hard to keep space cleared to operate, socouldbe gone in days to keep the place flowing.

Did anything ever go off that old vanette or did it all get the claw?

Someone save it. It will be a classic in 5 years. There must be someone who could afford to run a drive or enough untill then. Looks lovely.

    Live long and Prosper

I saw a 1968 or 1969 Black Dodge Charger exactly like the one in Bullitt. The engine had a really nice burble to it.
