^Can't bate the oul Hiace engine!

89' Golf van basking in the sunshine in the car park of my local Tesco this morning. Not showing much in the way of battle scars for a 30 year old van. Can only assume it got a respray in the not too distant past.

Loving the W124 and W126 tc20. The W126 is very stately looking. Proper built to last Mercs from an era before they started turning out the cheaply made tat.

That's one of my favourite cars of all time, the 300zx twin turbo.

It caught my eye straight away. Its a beaut.

A few from over the weekend and this morning:

A 98 and 00 Almera, the Morris Minor in Blackpitts and an 05 Alto for the Duke. :)

cheers - yep, the W126 still has the gravitas, and that C124 in particular looked stunning, classic lines. I've had a few old Mercs in the past, both of those particular models are certainly on my 'to-do' list ;)

Always found the W124 to be a lovely car to travel in anytime I sat into one.

Taxis usually back in the day.

Used to see that Minor regularly. Lovely old thing.

    Same owner since 1978 too!

Quite unusual to see Kuwait number plates in Eastern Europe.

On the other note - these two were parked just few metres apart, same housing estate! :D

Saw the 7 series during the week. Rare enough pre-facelift model and its still with owner #1. My brother spotted the Hiace today..I know it to see locally, older couple drive it and it really is minty fresh..would love to know what miles are on it.
