We should really have a thread called something like "The Badass Religious" for people like Archbishop Tutu. No matter how bad it is there are some truly great people attached to all the religions (not that religion makes them great, they are simply great people who are also religious).

While there have been a threads from time to time pointing out good things done in the name of religion, most of them have died out fairly quickly.

Might be interesting to resurrect the idea again, sticky it and see how it goes :)

We could do a count per religion, might be interesting.
    I'll get the ball rolling...

Punchline needs more, 'funny'. Other than that, not a bad first effort.

It seems that they've remade "Airplane" and added a Christian dimension

We can only hope that Nick solves his financial problems soon, and makes something that's actually meant to be funny with the Coen brothers.

I've always viewed the opportunity of being left behind as a selling point for evangelicals, unlike other religions they do promise to sod off and leave us sinners alone at some point :)

FFS The Doctor has resurrected twice since then.

Edit: I know that it is regeneration but resurrection sounds so much more like religiosity

It is actually estimated that there are 8.7 million different species on Earth. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/08/110823180459.htm

So if Noah took two of every kind that would be 17.4 million animals, which makes Noah's ark even more legit....
