'How to murder children' - That's more a hazard of belief than funny ha ha. And it gives the impression that these options are promoted in the bible, when in most cases they are not at all, rather the reverse.

I'd agree, some of the memes tend to be lazy and portray all violence in the bible as "god does" by that logic every history book promotes violence. its a pity, there is a enough to be be getting on with the actual "god does".... :pac:

    anyway back to humour

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer

So god didn't set the bear on the children to kill them,?

Who can forget PDN arguing that mauling was not necessarily fatal, therefore god did not order the Bears to kill the kids. Also, let's not forget what the kids did. They called a guy baldy. A bit of perspective please.

They reckon the Evil One within may get overly feisty if they try that.

Professor suspended after saying Christians, Muslims have same God

    http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2015/12/16/professor-suspended-after-saying-christians-muslims-have-same-god/77418168/

    USA Today wrote:
CHICAGO — Wheaton College has suspended a political science professor who said her fellow Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

The prominent Christian college's decision, which sparked protest on campus on Wednesday, came days after Larycia Hawkins, a tenured professor, received attention in Christian media outlets after announcing she would wear a traditional headscarf known as a hijab through the Christian Advent season. Wearing the hijab is part of her personal effort to show solidarity with Muslims, who have faced backlash in the aftermath of recent mass shootings in San Bernardino, Calif. and Paris.

In subsequent comments she made on her Facebook page, Hawkins said that the act was meant to show support for Muslims, who she called "people of the book." She also paraphrased comments recently made by Pope Francis that Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

After Hawkins' decision to wear a hijab received attention, the college issued a statement last week noting it "has no stated position on the wearing of headscarves as a gesture of care and concern."

But Wheaton officials on Tuesday evening announced they were placing Hawkins on administrative leave "in response to significant questions regarding the theological implications of statements" she made about the relationship between Islam and Christianity. [...]

Christians announce new Bible installment as Christmas overshadowed by Star Wars
    http://newsthump.com/2015/12/17/christians-announce-new-bible-installment-as-christmas-overshadowed-by-star-wars/

"Leading figures in the Christian Church have today revealed plans to reboot their biggest hit, ‘The Bible’, as they look to be overshadowed by rival franchise Star Wars this winter.

Despite being riddled with plot-holes and inconsistencies, the self-styled “Good Book” has been deeply influential in pop culture over the past few millennia and looks to reinvigorate its former success following a decline in recent years"
