    At 25k looks like the lead group of Irish lads is breaking up. Mick leads, followed by Sergiu and hehir has dropped back.
    Pollock has picked up the pace and is now just behind Hehir and heading for a sub 2:16 at this point.

    Mentioned in his blog only real aim is Q time and thoughts of a fast one were abandoned.

    Polock is really motoring now. He has put 45 seconds on Hehir and is just on the tail of the lead Irish group. All heading for low 2:15

    Believe it or not I always found 40k to the finish a lot shorter.
