Dislocated Shoulder according to that article with a possible tear. Article also says he popped it back in himself.

Still has to be looked at by a specialist as well.

Anyone know if they usually post these articles even if it might not end up being serious?

He hit the wall during the match, dislocated his shoulder and was able to put it back in himself in a split second,” said ringside physician Dr. Chris Robinson. Bálor was able to finish the match, but Dr. Robinson noted that an MRI yielded results earlier today showing “a possible labrum tear.”

The champion is currently scheduled to receive a surgical consult that will determine the extent of Bálor’s injury and what his recovery time will be.

That's what WWE are saying :( heartbreaking if true.

Ah ****, this is horrible. Even if the injury wasn't serious it must have spoiled the moment for him with all the worry.

I hope he recovers fast and can look back fondly on his great achievement.

Its an amazing run of injuries lately in WWE. Should nearly expect it now.

Finn to relinquish the title tonight or Seth to beat him in a rematch?

So if he does drop the title tonight who will we see face Seth for the title (I no we would probably get Reigns again)

Doubt it'd be Reigns as he's busy with Rusev...

For the spot, he clearly throws his right arm back unnecessarily, resulting in a harder impact than if he had just done nothing and taken the bump the regular way.

Definitely not as open and shut as "Rollins is reckless" as people are saying.

Video of the moment of injury in the link:

Also that was a crazy move that hurt him.

A good buckle bomb sees the recipient land their feet on the ground, arms on the ropes rather than back or neck hitting the turnbuckle first. The ropes have an angle that helps with that but the barricade is too straight.

I think in a social media era they can't have Finn go out and drop the belt in a match tonight. If he's out they gotta relinquish it.

    Well f*ck Seth Rollins.

Seth can't be entirely blamed for Finn's injury..

Jumping the gun but if he is out for a while, I hope they don't announce his return.

Perfect opportunity for a surprise return where he puts a beating on Rollins.

If he is out, and when he eventually returns, keep it hush hush, do a John Cena Royal Rumble '08 style return, that'd be the ideal thing to do, but WWE would probably announce the return weeks in advance..

If Finn popped it in himself I guess he dislocated it before. Still takes guts to do that!

Hopefully they'll be able to work it into a storyline later on. "I dislocated my shoulder and I still beat you!" or something along those lines.

    Damn, I just read Meltzer:
Finn Balor's injury to his right arm may have been serious as the WWE stated he possibly suffered a torn labrum, in his right shoulder taking the power bomb into the barricade. That injury often requires surgery which would put him out of action for around six months. He did appear on Good Morning America without his arm in a sling or a brace. He was examined today and the first word is that it wasn't good news. Because Balor is Universal champion, if the injury is significant enough for him to miss a few weeks, it'll have to be addressed on television.

Six months? F*ck. I wasn't expecting anything like that. Really hope this is not the case.

I'm gutted for him. All that time he spent patiently waiting for his chance too. I listened to his podcast with Jericho the other day and you could tell how chuffed he was at the way things were going.

This f*cking sucks. Best wishes to him in his recovery.

Devastating news for Bálor and his many fans. Far too many injuries in the WWE this year.

Said it in the Woolshed last night that the running powerbomb onto the barricade was a bad idea and saw the way his arm twisted. Thought he was okay because of how he carried on but obviously not. The fact he carried on though will get him more respect from the locker room and have him looking like a star. Just unfortunate it has to end like this for him, champion for a little under a day.

Despite it all he still has a huge smile on his face. Legend.

Just heard the news, that's a blow to Balor especially as he just moved up to the main roster. Hopefully it won't effect his push when he returns. He be back in time for WM.
