Not true either, as my game never crashes, even at the height of bug fever I was only crashing maybe 1 in 10 games, since Christmas the game never crashes.

"Premium is more than DLC. There is stuff in development which was never planned for the vanilla game. I think Premium members will like what they'll be getting when the time arrives. A special thank you for all those supporting the game. So it is much better to just start with Premium instead of buying separate DLC and in the end you still end up buying Premium to get that new non-DLC stuff. " - jjju (dice dev) in a thread about premium on battlelog

    ooooh cryptic :)

Wow so danger close are making the last map packs? That's terrible. I'd take the best maps from bad company 2. Laguna press. Alta. Panama canal etc. Instead.

If I remember correctly the maps from danger close's moh games were shocking bad.

Could I get a refund on premium please?:)

MOHW is still one of the best online shooters you can play, zero problems, great community, the maps, the classes, and the weapons are all perfectly balanced, great strategic team based gameplay, good game modes, but most of all it is just lots of fun to play.

I actually think myself that MOH online is pretty decent, whatever about the sub par single player.

Bought this game today and I am not impressed. I finished the first campaign mission earlier, came back to play the second mission and it tells me to start a new campaign? What the ****? I even have the trophy for completing it.

My first game online was Conquest, a complete lagfest, literally couldn't run in a straight line because my character getting moving backwards or sideways every few steps!

Had a decent run of games, loss, win, loss, win etc etc... but I finally unlocked the SUAV after quite a few attempts and also unlocked the GOL whilst playing CTF (easy enough when there's about 10 guys in a bunch trying to recap their flag). It may just be my first impressions, but it doesn't feel like the GOL of old :(

Yeah and not only that it will keep on happening. A sometimes fix is to save your progress to cloud then when it crashes simply download the cloud save to the system. It (unfortunately) doesn't always work but it saved me a good few times.

That's generally not normal, even in BF4.

Sorry, but to me sounds like you have problems with your connection to the internet... Loosing games because it fails to sync saves/progress to the server and when you start later - gets overwritten by the old server data. Although it should be asking to confirm which version of data you want to use. Next time keep an eye on the time stamp which option to choose...
Usually if I have any problems like that - I check other PCs/laptops at home to make sure that no torrents or similar stuff running. Don't get fooled by wife's saying "no, I'm not downloading anything" :-) Left and seeding torrents "blocks" your network traffic as well as downloading.
Try restarting your router to clear built up old connections. If using wireless connection - try to use cable as you could be living in a proper house, built out of bricks :-) Join servers with the low ping. I very rarely join game with ping over 50....

Just to show how easily this game can be upset without it being directly the game itself that is at fault .

One of the guys on teamspeak with us at night has been playing it since it came out without problems , then on Friday night his game started freezing on joining a server . To make it worse his whole PC would freeze and he would have to hard reset it . Well , he tried everything from repairing the install to uninstalling and updating all drivers , manually updating PB , to a system restore and on to a format and complete reinstall of windows . Talking in teamspeak last night we came to the conclusion that it must be network related due to it freezing when he connected to an online server but being ok in single player .................... turns out it was down to his BitDefender which must have received some kind of minor update over the weekend . He uninstalled it and BF4 is back working perfectly for him again .

that's a fair point but lets not forget the problems that guy had is still happening on consoles as well which wouldn't have those issue checks to contend with.

It was just the large Conquest maps that lagged for me, team death match runs fine

What are the specs (CPU, video, RAM mainly) of your PC and what are video settings?

I wouldn't get too worried, DICE L.A. (formerly Danger Close) have had more than a name change so I don't think they can be though of as the same group behind the MoH fiasco.
As far as I know they did most of the work on the multiplayer aspect for BF4 already.
As for DLC, look at what we have so far - china rising, with it's missing levolution events and some rehashed maps from BF3 - not exactly a high standard from DICE sweden so far is it ?

Battlefield 4 was always Swedens baby. Whatever work was needed to be done would of had to of been contracted out to Danger Close. The Vanilla game was primarily worked on by Stockholm as well as China Rising (levolution was planned for these maps and still remains somewhere in the code however time constraints put an end to this). Naval Strike is the last bit of content that Stockholm is working on. Danger Close re-skinned Second Assault maps (originally made by Stockholm).

I have little faith in Danger Close but I hope they prove me wrong. Nobody more than me wants them to pull it out of the bag.

I have seen it on large Conquest maps. Maybe 5-10 times in over 100 hours. Joining a new server has fixed it each time for me.

BF4 is primarily a multiplayer game so why bother even judging it on singleplayer. Okay MP seemed laggy too but could be internet

Because it's a part of the game I wanted to play and I expect it to work that's why.

We're lucky we can't drive the submarines because that would of been fun.

    1942 had submarines.
    BF2 didn't. BF3 didn't.
    BF4 does.....but you can't drive them.

    Wonderful.

A day of firsts for me in battlefield today.
First time my KDR has exceeded 1.0 since I've been on PC, first MVP in a 64 player conquest game and first play through of the new second assault maps.

Have to say, the new maps look fantastic, the artwork is excellent. Caspian I always liked, and the changes have made it even better. Firestorm I never particularily enjoyed but it's massively improved. Metro is metro...but with more grenades :)
Oman is quite interesting in that I've never played any of its earlier incarnations. Honestly it's ok, nothing amazing, certainly seen nothing to think it warrents two remakes. Sandstorm is a nice touch though.
