    That's good I'm not telling you how to spend your money but if it was me I'd push for the refund.

    As I said I had one of those boxes about three years ago and it was an awful experience. Maybe someone else can advise if they've improved since then but somehow I'd doubt they have.

    I have Saorview Connect.

    Have disabled the internet connection and the box works perfectly for recording Saorview channels, serial link etc.

    Watch one channel and record another.

    Easy to use.

    I no longer use the satellite function as I have Freesat on my LG TV.

    The Saorview Connect Box would freeze with the internet enabled, that's why I disabled it.

    I use RTE and TG4 Players on the LG TV as well.
