Mainly good iron play. I was watching it on and off. He holed most of the putts in the 6-8 foot range. Missed one alright when he three putted. Made one nice putt from 20 foot I think. He had a couple of wild drives but even though he didn’t hit many fairways he was often just off in the first cut.

Love that he going to stick with a fade off the tee with driver. It’s what the majority of the other top players is such as DJ, brooks and Rahm. More control and more consistent and still have the length.

Amazingly, Rory has hit only one out of eight fairways, rest of his game is very good. Woodland has hit 7 out of 9 fairways

He’s not hitting many fairways but he’s not missing by miles either. This course is very easy to be blocked out by trees if you’re wild but he hasn’t had that once today.
