Very poor, all across the board.

Move onto Thursday night as quick as possible

Very strange season on the road.

    Home form 6-0
    Road form 2-4-1

Fortunately the next two are at home and the only road game left is the 49ers. 3-0 from here would not be the hardest.

Win Thurs clinches the division which is more of a damning of the NFC West this year to be honest.

And that's how the West was won!

7-0 now at home for the regular season.

Only seen a few highlights so cant really comment on performance but the scoreline was comfortable and finally a win over the Rams.

Hopefully Bennett and Ryan are good to go next week. Both took big hits.

9 day gap to the Cardinals so plenty of time to rest up.

    And back to no.2.

    Thanks Giants

Our away form has been so poor that home field advantage seems way more important this year

Massively. Cant see us doing anything on the road this year.
Divisional round at home is essential.

Nasty leg break for Lockett. Be doing well to be back for next season.

Shame as he was getting much more involved.

That first round bye would have been handy

That did not put me in a good mood for Santa last night. Injuries are going to cost us.

Just got to see highlights now. Wilson won't be getting the O-line a Christmas present anyway. Lockette going to be a loss as well, need to start getting more out of Graham

Did he? Maybe its so they can watch the highlights from yesterday's game. Can an o-line be changed with endangerment?

Problem is, our line is so porous, Graham is needed for pass protection. Which isn't really his game.

    Fall into the playoffs.

Funnily enough ended with a better record than last season.

    The important word is playoffs.

    Can't argue with that

Hopefully can pull some performance out of the bag next week

It'll be tough with our injuries and form but I suppose we'll be slight favourites. One game at a time...

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,925 ✭✭✭Paleface

I think our home form should be enough for us to beat Detroit but once we go on the road it will be curtains. Matt Ryan and Atlanta look to have too much firepower. Hope I'm wrong!

Had periods this season with Bennett and Kam out bit the defence really has fallen apart without Thomas.

Worried what the Falcons would do to that secondary today!

Ya without Thomas the deep ball is going to cause problems and Atlanta would expose that.

Luckily for this weekend I don't think Stafford is right, that finger injury is obviously still an issue. Also their pass rush shouldn't cause the O-line as much problems as other teams have so Wilson should have more time. Get Graham involved a bit more and I can see a 10-15 point win

Anyone staying up to watch tonight?

Joys of following a west coast team!

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,389 ✭✭✭Shedite27

Nah, records it, turn off NFL app alerts, and watch it "as live" in the morning. Get to fast forward the ads too

That's the plan anyway. Already tired though so could be tough going

Looking forward to a 5am heart attack

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

I also have to remember to turn off the Seahawks app notifications. Will probably record and watch it all

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,977 ✭✭✭TheDoctor

Rawls back on form anyway! Half way there

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,977 ✭✭✭TheDoctor

13 points up with 8.30 to go.

    Let's keep it clean!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,977 ✭✭✭TheDoctor

    Onto Atlanta!

9.30 next Sat, nice time for a game!

That was pleasing to watch - I've just watched the replay. The O line seemed a little better but we've had false dawns before. I particularly liked how Carroll trusted Baldwin's judgement enough to throw the red flag on the incompletion call in the 4th quarter.

I think we need to take the o line performance with a pinch of salt. Detroit doesn't have a good pass rush, Ziggy Ansah was poor all year

Going by what we have seen so far this year you would think Vic Beasley will be a big sack threat next week. Also they created some huge gaps for Rawls last night, can't see that happening as easily against Atlanta
