One can often be surprised to learn, the original composer of a song, esp if it's done with a variant. Country to pop or tempo change.

One night in Borrisokane in 1993 a guitarist was trying to impress Shane MacGowan with his knowledge of Christy Moore songs, and not doing a bad job in fairness. Shane asked him could he do "Aisling". Yer man said "I know the chords but do you know the words?". Shane said, "I fucking wrote them.".

Nice to hear he finishes with a John Martyn song that isn’t May You Never or Sweet Little Mystery. Mustn’t have got the memo!
