    One night in Borrisokane in 1993 a guitarist was trying to impress Shane MacGowan with his knowledge of Christy Moore songs, and not doing a bad job in fairness. Shane asked him could he do "Aisling". Yer man said "I know the chords but do you know the words?". Shane said, "I fucking wrote them.".
