Don't understand Burton's desire to lead the Labour Party.

The way things are going in that camp, there will be no party left after the next election.

Her job is to influence government policy, what better way than to incite the masses about her viewpoint with no one to oppose her?

If they were giving out air miles for radio and tv appearances Noreen Hegarty could fly around the world continuously for the rest of her life and David hall would be in the seat beside her!

Presumably half an hour of her to 'look forward' to on Moncrieff later on, sharing her unparalleled expertise on global affairs...

I think Sean was already cheesed off after Paddy O'Gorman did a bleeding heart number about people smoking illegal substances on the steps of the Court being arrested by the Gardaí

"They wouldn't arrest someone like you or I for that, Pat"

No they wouldn't, because how likely is it that Sean O'Rourke would do that? Paddy O'Gorman would put some of the trolls around here to shame.

I don't think Sean has had the bleeding heart transplant yet :)

I think Labour have completely lost their identity and Quinn and Howlin are two of the worst ministers (in their current roles which they are unsuited to: both have been better in other departments in the 1990s government) and the rest of the party seems just as misguided and muddled.

Part of the problem is Labour attempts to be a capitalist socialist party! That does not work! It is hardly distinguishable from FF or FG but those two parties tend to have a better grasp of their voters and who they are. Ironically, Gilmore was at one point a member of the Worker's Party and considered too communist for the Labour party. But just like Eoghan Harris (another ex communist who ended up a total capitalist), Gilmore did a 180 degree turn and now is the capitalist leader of a capitalist Labour party! He has lost the support of many trad Labour voters and the disillusioned Fianna Failers who Labour borrowed votes from will not be there again!

God are you listening to this Muslim woman? So presumptive for someone who moved to a culturally Judeo-Christian part of the world and then essentially demanding we change to suit them

When he leaves his ministry after destroying the health service even further you can just imagine his resignation speech "Well I had my fun" :D

turned off when of the waffling senator was in the nunery but thats twice this week hes had muslims on demanding they get their own way. as a religon they are a biggoted intolerent group who expects everyone to change to suit their beliefs and have no respects for other religons/ethnic groups. rte shouldnt be giving them airtime. i doubt a christan/jewish group would get any airtime on the national broadcaster in pakistan or a middle east country
