Boards.ie Crew - Discussion Thread

Agree each platform should have a crew, I'm in this one but barely seems to be any XBOX guys online.

i think this is the best option has boards 2 has the space for people to swap over and a friendly social club message and kick should it be needed for some will speed it all up.

And this is the reason I won't kick people. for being older members or on different consoles. If people want to move back and forth that is fine but will be plenty of people who are happy the way it is.

Thanks, I've grown attached to our emblem and the BRDS sign next to our name, granted there is more ps3 users in the crew..

I play with Irish lads who are only casual readers of boards.ie but do more than enough to contribute xp to the crew.
With regards to kicking the ten lads, they might be waiting to buy it for Christmas or whatever. Not everyone has the money to pay full price for a new game..

Hey Fallon, only people I'm looking at kicking are people who might have just signed up before GTA released thinking it might be a good idea but then didn't buy it. Even they're not gonna buy it til Christmas, there are plenty of people who have it now and are looking to join. If people just didn't get around to buying it yet, they can have a look if there are openings when they do get the game or join one of the other boards crews.

I currently have more ACAS on my friends list than Brds.

We need to start adding each other as friends as it is easier to join a friends game than a crew members game.

Maybe create a list like the ACAS guys have.

It was painful doing that let me tell you

Because not everyone has their PSN account linked on the SC, I had to fish about on boards for names. Very time consuming.

Looks like this space has already been filled.....by an xbox player :pac:. Lads at one point there were 5000 pending invites. With 30+ reps, it's impossible to tell how many people have invites out there that just have to accept as soon as they see an opening, gonna be very hard to manage.

This I agree with. Actually ive been thinking if there was to be some kind of switchover I might be open to it. At the moment going on memory theres what 70 or 80 Xbox users and the rest are PS3 right??
As im usually working late past 12am there often doesn't seem to be many crew members on. A switch would give me more chance of getting games if it was Xbox only.
dunno how it could be organised....

Would be great if we could get that list with everyones gamertage and rockstar username. I have trouble remember who's who with 2 different names but some people have 3 different usernames so theres no chance of me remembering.

Well my names the same on XBL, here, and the social club.

I get all mixed up too with the names. Plus most aren't on my friends list.
Though people can feel free to add me if they want.
I'll try and get into more boards games over time. Trying to split between here and friends atm.
