Suspicious spelt 'susphises' and the 'author' refusing to acknowledge that it could possibly be wrong.

One thing that really annoys me is when people use "of" in place of "have" (example: "I should of ....").

While that is understandable in the case of written form, I have heard people complaining when someone walks away from a conversation and they say "he used "of" instead of "have""

which I don't really get because surely this is just using " 've " i.e. instead of " I should have gone to the doctor" people say " I should've gone.."

Friend on Facebook wrote "Hey Sweaty" instead of "Hey Sweety"....not to me....thankfully

For some reason "teh" instead of "the" really gets on my tits. Not even a grammar thing I just think it looks and sounds stupid.

    'Que' instead of 'queue'

    It drives me nuts.

'Que' is what Manuel says in Fawlty Towers.

In conversation, these sound pretty much identical (mostly, but not always). Written, it's different.

Probably the most common typo ever.

"Angle" instead of "angel". People spelling "ridiculous" as "rediculous" gets on my nerves too.

    'Que' instead of 'queue'.
Also, 'queue' or 'que' instead of 'cue'.

I am always noticing abysmal spelling on signs around town, such as this:

    Shocking.

The ones that get me are the ones where a phrase has been messed up, indicating that the person has never even thought about the phrase itself.

Like 'commoner garden variety' or 'for all intensive purposes'.

I used to be in a band with a guy who would text me saying, "Are we practicing tomarrow?" That never ceased to amaze me, as this was about a decade ago and I am pretty sure had predictive text on our mobile phones by that stage. Our words are our tools.

Asked the kitchen porter in work to put a label on some Caesar dressing one day, went into the fridge later on to find it labelled 'cezar gacing' i would say that was probably the worst.

When I text girls asking them to suck my penis and they reply 'no' instead of 'yes'. One of my pet hates in terms of spelling.
