After spending several hours drawing up the long list of pros along with the relatively short list of cons of both applicants, the Manchester Utd Chief Executive, Ed Woodward, still couldn't decide which manager would be best suited to take the club forward. It was a this point when he decided to flip a coin in order to choose which applicant would be the successful candidate.

The coin landed on heads, which Ed had already assigned to the current Chelsea manager Ricky O'Flaherty, resulting in Ed Woodward faxing over a contract to Mr. O'Flaherty's private residence on the clubs brand new fax machine.

It is not yet know as to whether Ricky has responded as of yet.

Applicants have until tomorrow at 2pm to register their interest, at which point, the Chelsea recruitment committee will decide on the most suitable candidate to take the club forward.
