54.93 with 10 staked so far. Was going to claim a hard luck story about Harlequins but can't complain after a last minute winner for Glasgow. Great start to the new season after a poor summer.

Edit: Northampton to win Champions Cup pool 5 units 2.0. They're one of the best teams in Europe and have Racing, Ospreys and Treviso. Should win 5 of 6.

The 10000 dream is over. Bloody handicap draw too for Northampton. So lucky on Friday though, at one point all 3 of the late ones looked sure to lose. 5 units Bath to win pool 6.0.

Edinburgh -16 4.33 1 unit William Hill. -6 standard handicap is fair for me given Bordeaux have a mix of the first and second string but it's a good alternate handicap game for me because I think Bordeaux will keep it close or lose badly, don't think there'll be much in between.

119 staked, +9.04. Disaster, fourth week in a row of losses. However Leinster Northampton and Bath all look like potentially winning the pool which would be worth 4, 5 and 25 units each but my unit has got a bit bigger since then.

    139 staked, +36.59. Merci Bath.

Paddy Power have a great offer, put 20 euro on 6N top try scorer and get 5 euro free bet every time they score a try. Worth sticking 20 on someone at the top of the market like George North at 6/1.

Ireland U20's -14 in the handicap at 10/11. a cracking bet

Wasn't planning to have a bet on the Wal-Eng match tonight but I see that England are 3/1 on Betfair to win by 1-12 points. I'm expecting a tight, low-scoring affair so couldn't resist having a few quid on that.

Obviously, somebody doesn't fancy England (the beauty of Betfair!) - the best price for this bet in any of the bookies is 9/4.

Keatley to do a full house @ 33/1

141 staked, +36.57. Down -.02 on week but 23 points difference does the Ireland outright bet a world of good.

wales u20 odds of 10/11 in the handicap +9

like us Wales have around 9 players returning from last year. They've a huge lad in the midfield who has already played senior rugby and is the next george north. home advantage i don't think they will lose by more than 10pts in fact woulnt be too suprised if they win

the match is on SC4 in an hour so

    Caps now on PP:

England -27: You would fear for Italy going to Twickenham. I think this is a few points too generous to the visiting side given how England looked in Cardiff.

Wales -3: Given the events of the first weekend Scotland should really fancy this but when there is pressure on them to win will they do it? I'm not so sure, even if Wales will almost certainly be without George North. I think Wales -3 is a good price.

Ireland -5: If Sexton and Heaslip both start I'm all over this. I'll be hopping on as soon as that is confirmed as I think it will go to -7/8 if both start.

Scotland u20's + 17 10/11. this evening looks a good bet to me. I think the bookies have over reacted a bit to Wales win over England. Throw in Warrington -4 in the league and it should be a nice double.
