Leinster cap was on PP as -14 earlier in the week, I got on. I didn't check yesterday was it still there.

Sneaky Bookmakers are not offering much in the way of odds for Ulster v Toulon, a Flu in the Toulon camp could have a big impact on the result of this game

They normally don't open the full book until the teams are named.

Good thing I waited on Murray. Can't be having Munster now. 1 unit Connacht win 2.6.

i see munster have been pushed out to +7 with PP

without murray this could go longer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Yeah it really should be going longer, I might take them at +7 actually.

Toulon -15 is too low to overlook

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,025 ✭✭✭skippymac6

Agree on Toulon. Ulster have looked awful this year, especially away from home. Toulon havent really fired at home against Scarlets or Leicester and I'd say this is the day that they do it.

Leicester -15 is a bit too steep. I think they will win by 10+ but I'm annoyed at I didnt get on at the -11s and -12s. I'm going to play Leicester to win by 11-20 points and 21-30 at 9/4 and 7/2 respectively.

Toulon -15 for me as well Ulster could get destroyed. Clermont -6 is a great bet as well, they should have way too much for Sale. I can see Leicester covering the -14 as well. Scarlets are destroyed with injuries and won't be up for this game. Leicester need 4 tries and they will get them too.

    Sale +8.5 1 unit 2.0 888. Munster +7 1 unit 2.0 365.

    Toulon
    CA
    Saracens
    Castres

    All to beat spread

    Accumulator @ 13/1

Zebre to beat Brive 1.75 888 1 unit, looks very good to me. Brive have sent the seconds and it looks like Zebre want a confidence boost after the fiasco of the last 3 weeks. Edinburgh win 2.3 1 unit.

Leinster -16/18 would be my line tbh

    http://www.leinsterrugby.ie/team/results/results_and_fixtures_leinster.php

    Big wins this season
    -30 v Scarlets (h)
    -14 v Cardiff Blues (h)
    -17 v Zebre (a)
    -25 v Edinburgh (h)

Haven't been putting teams to the sword really, and two of those were in the opening weeks of the league..
In fact, we've only scored 24 points 6 times this season (24 exactly twice). Are we expected to keep Castres almost scoreless?

Castres big losses this season (more than 24 point losses)
    +29 v Tolouse (a)
    +33 v La Rochelle (a)
    +52 v Bordeaux-Begles (a)
    +27 v Wasps (a)
    +33 v Stade Francais (a)

So their away record is pants. That Bordeaux-Begles result sticks out obviously (11/10/14). They appear to have been improving since then (domestically) until last weekend when they were trounced again.

happy enough to lose this one tbh

112 staked, +12.38. Still can't believe what Ulster did to me.

119 staked, +9.04. Disaster, fourth week in a row of losses. However Leinster Northampton and Bath all look like potentially winning the pool which would be worth 4, 5 and 25 units each but my unit has got a bit bigger since then.

Northampton 8 point favourites, that handicap is plenty low to have a bet. Don't see them giving Racing a chance to win it in the last minute.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

    1 unit Northampton -8 1.91, 1 unit Leinster win 2.0.

I cleaned up with the 3 above bets coming in.

Edinburgh -16 4.33 1 unit William Hill. -6 standard handicap is fair for me given Bordeaux have a mix of the first and second string but it's a good alternate handicap game for me because I think Bordeaux will keep it close or lose badly, don't think there'll be much in between.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

    1 unit Ulster win 2.37.

Had Leinster to score first, win the first half and win over all for 7/2

    :(

Actually checked and forgot I had a double of less than 42.5 points and quins to beat spread.

    So not so bad.
