Change Mig and Mert to Szcz and Toure to get 0.5M. Too much City players and Dzeko is huge rotation risk. I would rather go with Lambert with same price.

Lucas is good player irl but not in fpl. Whittaker and McNaughton arent starters. Take Koren instead of Brady co is hes on number 1 on set pieces.

And you got 2.5M in the bank? Upgrade Brady, Whittaker, Mcnaughton, Lucas

In the past few hours I've crumbled and come crawling back to RVP. Madness ye say. Well maybe. But if I don't have him I may well actually go mad (Shush now I know I'm not fully here to begin with :pac:)



Busts helpfully reminded me of the Boruc/Davis axis of rotation proofing Southampton but this is very much under review.

The defense looks ok. Nothing special but pretty solid for 23. The more I look at Everton the more spooked I get by their defense so shifted Coleman to Toure for now. Kos and Mickey T have been explained enough already. Chester and Ward do what it says on the tin for 4.0 each.

Mirallas/Walcott are non-negotiable while Hazard is vital for GW1. Snodgrass is where I could cut some money and go for a 5.0 in rotation with a 4.5 or another 5.0. I plan on looking into the 4.5 options thoroughly tonight or early in the week.

And so we come to a beautiful sight up front. RVP/Soldado/Dzeko. Ain't she a beaut As I type I have realised I may need to DGW and financially proof my team so I could risk going without RVP in week one (as roryc alluded to) for Benteke and leave the cash there. I have no problem in playing RVP against Chelsea and Liverpool, in fact it probably increases his chance of being the points scorer. Deep thought is required though.



The main concern at this moment is downgrading Snodgrass and upgrading those keepers. Any advice there or on any aspect of what I've presented. I believe an escape route from Dzeko will make itself known over the course of the first week or two in the shape of a bandwagon if necessary but will need midfielders 4 and 5 to be playing.

Ah now that's a little harsh to be fair.

Mignolet is a great keeper choice over the course of the season and Brady won't be playing Chelsea every week. I'd rather have a team set up from week 1 for the season than trying to scramble. I've been thinking about Lucas and he will play and could pick up a BP or two here and there with the changes so not the worst option to have although probably not in rotation with Brady.

The rest of the team looks to be in good nick apart from Whittaker has been playing pre-season but I wouldn't chance him nowand Mcnaughton isn't nailed either apart from that I see no concern assuming there's a GW3 plan with 3 Chelsea players

Is 30m too much to invest in my strikers? Looking for advice as to whether my midfield and defence looks OK for the first 4 gw or if they have been compromised by RVP/Benteke. Would appreciate your opinions, thanks.

OTT more like. Migs is a very good keeper playing for a team who had the 2nd most clean sheets last season.

Saying that I don't fancy having both Lukaku and Dzeko as neither are nailed on. Take a chance on one by all means but both is a gamble.

Get rid of Bale, he's as good as gone and even if he's not transferred, he is not playing gw1. Use the money for Gerrard/Coutinho and upgrade your keeper to Mignolet/Jussi.

I'm assuming you're going to change Lukaku once we get a better idea of starting line-ups.

That's the plan exactly, I hear Nani is still injured and Valencia isn't 100% fit I think, just watching the game today and I think Zaha could get game time for the first few games at least. I've Anelka starting tihs GW as he's at home to Southampton.
Of course it could all change before the opening game!

Doesn't look too bad to me, but think you could try to get more out of the dgw, maybe swap out Baines for a decent 5.5 or 6m defender Mertasacker/koscielny, allowing you to bring in Cech for Mignolet.

Nothing against Mignolet, he should have a solid season but Cech is probably the only Chelsea player you can bank on to play both games in gw1!

Wouldn't be convinced about Routledge, think Ramierz (Southampton) for .5m more might be a better bet!

Bony could well be this years Michu, the only reason I haven't gone for him is Swansea have a tough start, so personally i'm gonna hang on a couple of weeks and see how he goes!

Think your bench could be better, I would swap out Baker and Colback.

I don't have 0.5m but could change subs for that. I picked that bench based on money only.

Looking for advice on Bellamy/Front 3 options. Pretty happy with the 4 other MF. Also not sure of DEF combos.

I like that team tbh.... Maybe the keeper should be changed and i think soldado will have a lot to prove..

Have you anyone in mind? I had Sczesney but felt having both him and Kos was risky. Im not too fimilar with GKs tbh.

I think 9.5m on Soldado may be too big a risk too. He's 9.5 and Giroud 8.5m. Any combos you would suggest?

I think cech is first choice because of the double game week and the fact that mourihno will have a very very tight defence...

I dont know much about soldado and the fact that he is new to the premier league would make me want to pick someone else at the start... Some one like bertatov or long?? They gonna score because they have scored double figures the last few years...
