Changed the coolant and flushed the rad and engine.

It was cleaner than I was expecting.

This was the only noticeable buildup, which came off with a brush.

I really like some of what you have done to the car and this look nice but they are going to always look dirty. I would suggest grey/silver.

New OE front wishbones, bushings and drop links. All of which were to be had at their cheapest from BMW themselves. It has been a strange day. :P

I was thinking about getting a new set of wheel caps, but I had a can of white paint so I thought I'd try painting them first.

I don't think vw ones are that expensive to get new and at least they have the vw badge in the middle. Car looks well other than the wheel covers love the cat too :pac:

Did you scrape it off something?

Edit: Ha never mind. Looking at it on my phone and the reflection from the trees make it look like there's a nasty scratch on the side.

Installed cheapo Aliexpress reverse camera..... pretty much identical to the real thing, integrated into the boot handle as well. Tough to get it installed, but well worth doing it yourself, worked out about €70 all in.

That looks identical to the Amunsden + headunit in my vRS
Wonder would it be possible to hook a camera to my one?

http://www.kufatec.co.uk/shop/index.php?page=product&info=7367 interface seems expensive, but perhaps its just a 2 pin wiring trick, OP may know.

I would imagine the handle would work if the unit has the roght connectors, the unit I have is the RNS315. Heres the camera I got, the seller is a gentleman, really helped me out during install, he might be able to confirm compatibility.

Currently in the process of changing my rear shocks. First on, and the second is almost there. Took longer than expected, but all is looking good at the moment. It seems my diagnoses was correct, the old shocks were noticably worn when I was examining them off the car. One worse than the other. Koni sport shocks going in. Oh baby!

When I removed my old shock I could compress it by hand .

The fun ones are when you can't compress them atall :pac:

Decided the other day, know what, my back tyres need replacing.... Seeing as they were Chinese dirt, it'd be rude not to

I made sure they could never ever be used again, thanks to a nice farmyard that needed some black concrete :D
    15331949389_d4c6aa7579_h.jpg

Pull a set of these out of thin air
    15332191428_265386c04c_h.jpg

    Much better
    15495672516_7b5215e7ca_o.jpg

I'll put these on the front afterwards :) I can't wait to replace the tyres currently on it in the same way..... ;)
