AJ where you buy this and what was the cost? Was thinking of buying one from Online Golf at £129 gbp. Checking to see if ya got it cheaper.

Not cheaper, but I don't think there's much in it after the conversion.
There may be no difference at all if you have to factor postage.

Bought my first ever irons :D

    nike-vr-pro-cavity-irons.jpg

Got them for €250 in Halpenny's. Budget was up to €350 but the guy in the shop advised me on these with a stiff shaft. Golf Pride grips, True Temper shafts. Hit them yesterday, the trajectory is very high relative to the old clubs I was hitting and there is a bit more distance. Had hit them previously as my mate has them but still getting used to the higher trajectory.

Picked up a new putter. Had been playing with one of these:

    acushnet-bullseye-std4a-2.jpg

But now will be looking forward to using this tomorrow:

Got to say that I don't think I'll ever find a harder to hit putter than that Bullseye. Really tough old thing to get to grips with.

How much did you pay for the Footjoy sport? Looking to pick up a pair at some stage and kicking myself somewhat that I didn't get them in the sales in Jan when they were €100

Nice putter, would like one of those myself. Can you get them with a bigger offset? Each manufacturer has their own numbering system which is a pain tbh.

Hope you sink your balls into many holes with it!

Bought a 56deg taylormade ATV during the week. Give it a spin around Sunday.

The black dot is for a slight arc, which is what I have according to their app. As for offset, I'm not sure, mine is standard. 80 in McGuirks though at the moment. No better time to get it. As soon as I saw the price I was all over it. Mate has one and I've got it a load of times. Great weighting (anything would feel great compared to the Bullseye) and love the metal finish.

Just picked up a Titelist 910F 15* fairway wood. Was looking for one to complete my set, as I have the driver and Rescue. Picked it up in Halpenny who had an influx of Ex-Demo clubs, ended up paying €90 for it which is a steal.

This goes along with my new set of Cleveland 588 Rotex wedges I picked up in the last few weeks from Halpenny also. Have been a massive improvement, my greenside play and 100yards in play has changed dramatically. I've always had the ability just my previous wedges were letting me down big time, now I'm capitalising and my scores from the last few weeks are showing :)

I think that is me done for the year, and the forseable future. Everything in my bag is now less then 12 months old, and I'm happy with what I have put together.
