VDSL Stats - Whats yours?

cork981, how can you tell cab has gone live?? i am tearing hair out as i have been told " cab has been enabled but it may not have been switched on yet!! this was a month ago. I am in ennis, did you have to reboot router? and how can you get the right port??

All I have is very low pings ie 10ms, its even 1ms to enniskillen! speed stayed the same, ie 38mb and at 800m from cab. I am expecting near 50 so that speed test speedometer gets close to RED!!

Modem lost sync for a few minutes during the night and came back up with a higher SNR and higher attainables.

I was in the same position as you I only had INP enabled for the last few months which gave a very low ping but low attainables.

K&N will have to come out and swap my line to a new port.

Apparently they came out today and coudnt find the port and just left.

I've also noticed it takes a lot longer to sync now that vectoring is enabled.

Its not too unusual, transmitter in the laptop is a little less efficient.

This is a wireless test but shows the upload has increased from less than 12mbps to almost 19mbps:)

Vectoring has just been enabled a week later, Vodafone unable to select a higher profile as of yet - the lad on the phone reckoned that they're systems are updated on the first tuesday of every month (?)

There's a good chance you'll be unstable at 80, prequal will probably only allow 70 too.

efibre installed a couple of weeks now, rock solid performance that im very happy with but people connected to other cabs in the town are getting 95mb dload,im about 100 m from our cab and nothing has changed.
Is there a set time per month for a prequal?
How do i find out if vectoring is enabled on our cab?

eircom has been delivering flyers in the estate the last 2 weeks stating that 100mb is now available in the area, ring vodafone to try get my profile changed and they say eircom still have my line locked to 50/15. its mainly the upload i want more of, even when i had magnet on the same line i was synced at 50/20 and that was before vectoring with a snr of 6dB

At roughly 850m from the cabinet, on a rate adaptive profile, so rate will change up and down slightly at various times of the day (in response to changes in SNR?), been rock solid for me since it was installed though.

You're on a 40Mb profile, so the rate adaption wont change it. If it was 50RA then you'd bounce around 42-44Mb.

Upstream could be struggling a little.
