Weird not being able to blame Kidney for a poor Irish performance.

The ref will have to do.

On a side note, this must be the calmest Ireland test match thread in about three years. Is there anything even remotely worth debating or arguing about this game !

pure munster red tinted bias! disagree with everything!

Nice take by Madigan. He's really cut out the mistakes for his first Ireland game at 10.

    calm down.

It is a disgrace, anyone not familiar with the sport watching this is going to be instantly put off the sport. It's horrible, and completely down to inept officiating

USA giving us a lesson in passion and pride. Our boys look as though they just want to go to the bar after the match. Embarrassing to see our reputation trashed.

Poor hands from Hagan but what the hell was Marshall doing passing to him? That's what makes Marshall a complete non-option for international selection generally. He's a poor director of play.

While I have good time for him, I really don't want to see Boss for the Canadian game

What happened there with the ref?

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,336 ✭✭✭✭ArmaniJeanss

I enjoy rugby but had no background in it as a kid and never really studied the rule book so at the best of times I don't know the reasoning behind 90% of decisions.

I quite like that so many of you are being dragged down to my level for 80 minutes!

Showing exactly why boss shouldn't have been starting this game.

You're completely overreacting. It's an inexperienced team, and certainly not one outed on the passion stakes or othersuch cliched nonsense.

Terrible officiating and a very poor gameplan has a lot more to do with the close result

Word has it P Marshall's been caught in the sack with all of the backroom staff's wives... Seriously, in a match of literally no importance they decide to start Boss.

Yeah in fairness i have only been half watching the second half. It has been a turgid affair. I hope to never see this ref ever again. Mickey mouse stuff.

I thought it was me for the first 30 minutes I watched as I came in drunk, but the more I watch, the less I understand what the fuck is happening... for some reason I find myself smiling and laughing a lot more than usual during a rugby game, again that might be the drink, but to answer your question....I have no idea.

I can't actually remember any clear incidents where Felix failed to make a tackle he put himself in line for.
