I left my dinner unattended the other day while I fed the cat and 2 kittens. One of the kittens disappeared and when I went to look for her she was helping herself to my dinner! I had a good laugh when I saw the sauce completely covering her face and front paws. She looked hilarious!

She wasn't too happy when she had to have a shower to clean the sauce up!

Brought my little yorkie mix into a pet shop today. He's afraid of bigger dogs and goes mad barking so I was relieved to see no other dogs in sight. Then out of nowhere he goes mental, shaking and barking for all he's worth. There was a soft toy Labrador placed on top of a kennel modelling one of the dog jackets. He was convinced it was real. Even when I brought him over for a sniff!! The best part was the girl working there put the toy into the kennel so my fella could calm down.. But she locked him in!! Like he might try to get out or something! :D:D

Dog had a very swollen stomach, was panting, pacing, wouldn't lie down. She wasn't trying to vomit or anything, but you know how it is, I was automatically going 'She got into something. Or it's bloat. Or possibly ebola. She's going to die of ebola isn't she.'

I was anxiously waiting for the vet to open, sitting beside the door with the car keys in my hand, had called them in advance to make sure that everyone would rush to her attention. Then she farts. And continues to fart, loud and long, for about three hours. May need to burn the dog bed, fumigate the house, and spend all the Christmas present money on scented candles- but I now have a happy, lively, and visibly deflated dog.
    This is brilliant :p

I got a new pup last weekend and yesterday he decided he wanted to use the computer, the photo made me laugh :D

Also my sister looks after him during the day while I'm at work and she has an adult Retriever so they get on great.

This morning she proceeds to play dress up with him.

She calls this one Snooppp Dogggg

That poor puppy - he obviously is NOT impressed with his daft outfit and wants to get back to debugging his computer programme :D You need to get in touch with his superior intellegence and behave appropriately :D:D:D

My kitten Fluffy has the longest whiskers ever! They're just so cute. She looks a little bit ridiculous with them and they make me laugh!

Not only are they snuggling each other, they're snuggling with their favourite teddy. :D

My 5 month old kitten decided to headbutt me in the face over and over. It's her first time to do it and oh it was so cute. She's also licked my face and kneaded my shoulder. God I love her!

We've been spending a few days with my parents and, while sitting upstairs playing a board game this evening, there was a massive bang as something hit the front door. My parent's little border terrier took off at top speed across the floor and down the stairs, barking angrily at the top of his voice, closely followed by my father (not barking angrily).

My GSD raised her head in some alarm, looked at us... and then decided that life was safer with us and the stove between her and the stairs - she'd stay where she was, thanks.

We think it was just a bird hitting the glass door, but the little border came back all puffed-up like he'd fought off lions at the gate. The GSD is still in the same position she was where the commotion started. :D

^^^ typical bolshy terrier response :) Nice sensible GSD - her humans and the heat in a house other than her own, she was obviously off duty :)

Didn't make me smile as such, but I felt such pity and love!

Riggs' poor little face looking at me as I washed his feet, belly and tail in a shallow bath. He was puking all day yesterday, with a suspected hairball. We'd left him in the bathroom, to protect the rest of the apartment, and this morning when I went in to see him, he was covered in his own vomit :( Think he must have lay down in some of it. Cats obviously don't like baths but he must have been feeling so miserable to just let me wash him, while staring up at me with his big sad eyes.

Turns out that this kitten is actually a boy and we only just realised. I can't get used to calling her a he. Myself and my bf can't stop laughing at her/him now.

We have a new baby at home, so for the last 9 or so months, the dog has fe;t quite marginalised despite our best efforts to still include him in everything.

The other day I was feeding the baby and wasn't paying any attention to Rufus, but I knew he was staring at me. When I was done feeding and burping the baby I looked to my side to see he had placed a ball on my lap and was waiting for me to finish with the child and throw the damn thing!!!

Bob watched Star Wars episode IV with me at the weekend, I caught him trying to use the force to get food into his bowl today... :D

Brought my little fella to the vet for the first time on Saturday. I wasn't sure how it would go because he's really shy - hides under the bed whenever anyone comes over - but he was fine, sat calmly and quietly through the examination and didn't even try to wriggle away when the vet picked him up to put him on the scale. At the end, the vet praised him for "exemplary cat behaviour". I was such a proud mammy t09026.gif

He didn't manage to float the box of food over himself, but he must have switched tactics and used the force on my mother as she was suddenly pouring homemade chicken soup over his usual dog food before giving it to him!

Oh clever dog!! Well done him - obviously decided your mother was an easier human to manipulate subject to practise on than a heavy box of food!!! :D

my dottie is currently inside out and upside down on a one seater leather couch snoring his brains out.

How don't they wake with a creak like us!!

At night time, I put the 2 kittens and the cat to bed downstairs. I can only carry the two kittens so I try to encourage Pepper to follow us down. She never does though. She sneaks back into the bedroom and climbs into a shoe box to hide. She looks up and I swear she thinks that I can't see her hiding in her little box! It's so unbelievably cute!

Henry likes to play fetch with his little toy squirrel. If you don't throw it fast enough after he brings it back, he'll prop his paws up on your knee, put his nose on it and just .. sigh.

(He has too many dog habits for a cat. :|)

My two while I was doing some cooking yesterday. Shadow is a classy bird as you can see.

My cat Murph plays fetch as well. She brings me feathers she finds in the garden, leaves and anything she finds on the floor that she can pick up in her mouth.

She sleeps at the end of my bed every night. But she wakes me up in the small hours by prodding my face with her paw so that I'll lift up the duvet and she can go underneath... :)

Out lotso in his crate to go out for a few hours. Came back to a very excited dog roaming free around the house- I must not have locked the door but he was so proud of himself and had all his toys out ready to play!

Well it took a while, but the rescue cat I adopted in August has now taken up nearly full-time residence on my lap! As soon as I sit down he comes over and makes himself comfortable t09026.gif
