You can't teach those things! It wasn't luck, you could see it was premeditated. Nonu has really come back into form in this test series. Tales looks decent enough at 10.

Not sure if I'm a fan of these half-time interviews with the captain and member of coaching team. To me it seems that they simply don't want to be there.

...or subs after 40.30s of game-time. Why not change in the dressing room

Agree. They are pointless and possibly even a distraction...1 minute to half time and the captain is wondering what to say that gives nothing away but fulfills his obligation.

Think they wanted time for the subs to get a quick run to warm up maybe?

Excellent use of the Video Ref by Nigel.

Kick for the lead. No pressure now.

    Carter has the Yips!

35m out nearly straight in front! Tougher to miss.

And then bangs over the kick near the sideline.

Svarverski on to shore up the French lineout.

NZ commentators absolutely right about the French kicking. Aimless and getting no distance either.

Kerr-Barlow should stop working the blindside, it is not working at all

    Haha is that his name.

Watching the NZ coverage, hadn't heard of him before and thought his name was Cerballo or something like that.

Ulster's pool for the HEC next season just got a lot tougher with Ranger joining Montpellier

    Score, time?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,363 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Heaslip kneed McCaw, wasn't a headbutt boys.

    EDIT:
14-9 AB's, France down to 14. Yellow for Maistri for an attempted "headbutt" at the end of a maul.

    Under 10 to go.

EDIT2: 17-9 Carter slots the penalty. Game over effectively.

14-9 to Kiwis, down to 14 now. 5 leading with the head when a maul went down. Carter has the penalty. 9 mins left.

Ah, that famous French discipline. Tough now to win.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,938 ✭✭✭leakyboots

17-9 now, game over, can't see the French getting two scores

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

And that's pretty much it. Has to be said France have offered nothing in attack.

French defence generally excellent. But have never remotely looked like scoring a try.
