Anyone else hate the way Farrell looks at the posts with the tilted head? Always annoys me anyway

He can do what he wants if he slots them over :P

Owen Farrell was born in 1991 and he's on his first tour. He's starting in a thrown together side. Yet this thread for the first 15 minutes of this match reads like a lot of people taking any excuse possible to criticise the guy.

He's one of ours. Give him a ****ing chance.

Fair enough but if he has been average enough so far but listening to Sky, they are painting a different picture.

So that will wind people up, espically as we are meant to be one team.

Hogg has been very quiet so far.

He's mixed good with bad. Some people just want to completely ignore the good and only see the bad.

Just landed a kick perfectly for his chaser there and the Lions moved 30 meters up field. Boards.ie's reaction: *crickets*

If we cut out the handling errors and some of the passes stick we should pull away quite comfortably.

That looks like it should be a try

Farrell gets far too much abuse. I thought his temperament was fine considering his chin almost got a KO punch in the first game of his first tour.

For my money Roberts is the outstanding player so far. Mention too for POC & Phillips.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,158 ✭✭✭A-Train

    Get in POC.

    POC!!!! :):)

Farrell isn't a complete enough player to be on this tour imo, said it from day one. He's not playing that badly though, improving as the game goes on

Phillips is breaking my heart though, hope to god Youngs or Murray can give Gatland a headache

Vunipola, POC, Gray, Jones, Davies and Roberts my pick of the bunch so far

    Good stuff, POC ya legend!

No idea how the TMO can declare the grounding fine there, he couldn't see it at all.
