Nope, not yet, I'll get one of these first, then the bumper, they never have a black one so I'll be attempting a diy respray, knowing me though....

Would you not try a respray on the one you have then?

Also, that was one seriously powerful Skyline earlier in Camlough..... The bangs and shrieks as it flew up the hill.... I could hear it for miles and miles!!!

Nothing nicer than seeing a real RS4 beside an RS4 TDI..... How do you feel now, berk

I might give it a shot, but I want to get fogs for it too see, so I figured, just but the lot and off you go, but it might be cheaper in the long run doing it that way, also, the one thats on it now has no points to attach it to the body, it's screwed on sure haha

    With such hits as:

    Shiftin' 18
I keep her handcuffed in the cab
    Crunch goes the cyclist
I'll die in my sleep (Oh but the poor bastards in the car I hit)

Hit 1k in the car earlier since Monday, showing just under 1200 since the return trip. Need to cut down on my mileage...I didn't take the photo by the way...

@Muppet check - Sweet, best of luck with the new motor. So whats your opinion of it so far? Handling, acceleration etc. etc...?

Thanks, haven't really pushed it too much but it's good for over taking and refined enough once you're on the move. Good on the motorway and very decent in the corners - just seems to grip and go. Rides a little on the harsh side at low speeds though with the 19s but that was expected. Once moving along its much better and it seems economical enough too. Very good seats, the nav has been able to find some obscure places and the air con is effective. Haven't been able to try out the trick xenons yet though.

Most impressed by the complete lack of torque steer compared to a previous vrs diesel with the same output. Haven't seen the traction control light so much as flicker but it has got the insignia OPC front set up.

All in all it's early days but I'm happy so far.

Might be around. I'm going to Dublin at some stage tomorrow and won't be back till Tuesday. Then heading to Spain for a few weeks. Will be around for most of August though.

Good stuff, as long as you're enjoying it that's the main thing.

If someone can show me a petrol that can double its stock power for the price of 2 fills of a tank, I might just shut up :) not :pac:

Doesn't bother me, I'm in both leagues :p

I know :p if I get the t-spark working in the van I'll turbo it too in due time ;)

It won't be as cheap to double the power of that as the xud though :(

I must've missed that. Is that the bravo van?

Yes indeed, I've the engine ready to come out, just need the 156 out of the way first, I need to get the time and extra help for that! Looking more into it the engine is a direct fit but my main concerns are driveshafts and the electrics. It has been done before though, the ECU plugs directly in so thats a goid start :D no speedo as it's a sender on the diff on the 1.2 and abs on the 2.0

My main priority is getting it working first then go from there :)

Depends what you like really. I like to rev my car and keep them high through turns. I also prefer not to fill up from the pump that smells like Guinness farts.

Thinking about the car again...and came across this...might pull the trigger on my return if I can get it sprayed for not all that much...

    http://www.ebay.ie/itm/BMW-E46-M-FRONT-BUMPER-COUPE-CONVERTIBLE-M-TECH-II-FOGS-BRAIK-AIR-KIT-M-/321154996046?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4ac654574e

Sick of trying to find resonable condition and silver M front bumpers with all the bits.
