An almost 90 minute podcast today. Is it a combined free one or is there a second non-football one on the way?

Bit harsh from Ken regarding Stephen Ireland today. Seems like he didn't realise it was only his second game back after being out for 18 months with a leg break!

I see Irishman abroad is taking the Patreon route also, be interesting to compare sub numbers.

I thought it was pretty harsh too myself.

The street fighter promo today was great!

Yeah, except I could have sworn OTB used that music for something else in the past week or two.

Haven't listened in a while but tuned in to the last 2 Monday football shows. I'm assuming they've started cursing like mad now that they answer to no one. Really cheapens the show.

They haven't really. Ken did a bit when he was narky there, but by and large they don't. And usually when one does, the others often make a joke out of it.

They don't curse often but when they do they make them count.

Won't somebody please think of the children

I'm not really touchy about it. Just never heard them do it before and it's sounds really unnatural. I don't think it's particularly clever in a podcast about sports. They're in danger of stooping to the Football Ramble style crap.

Nothing like solid evidence to back up a point.

I'm assuming you wouldn't be an admirer of Polly Clarke's fiction either

Well they didn't do it when they had to answer to Denis O'Brien or the Irish Times. Anyway I'm sorry if I upset the fan boys here. Carry on.

    Apology accepted.

Of course they didn’t curse while sponsored by the Irish Times, that’s kind of stating the obvious. Large chunks of the podcast are carried out in a casual conversational tone between the three hosts. Most adults curse every now and then. They’re not exactly throwing the C word around every five minutes either, the cursing is minimal.

I'd be more likely to subscribe if they promised never to have Gordon D'arcy on again. That guy is almost as painful to listen to as he is to read.

    Cursing aside.

They've really hit consistently high standards since Christmas, the daily shows have been so good I'm not too bothered that there hasn't been a players chair/politics pod in awhile. Normally after a bit of gap I'd be looking forward to something a little different.

It's Eamon Dunphy vs Ken in today's Pod apparently. Looking forward to it :)

    Listened to it there.
Very good of the lads to let Eamo host the entire show with little or no heated discussion.

I have a feeling it could have been a tactic to let him talk himself into a corner,
    which he did.

No mention of any stats from Ken, which is annoying. Was really hoping they would have a go at each other.

Ken needs to commit to getting back on the smokes and then come off them.

Piss or get off the pot Ken. Or rather, piss, get off the pot, get back on,
    and then get off again.

It was OK. No fireworks. Both went more towards the middle with their opinions.

Don't think there is need for spoiler tags. It was available to everyone today, you would hardly be shocked about any discussions they may have had
